Is there any special prize distributed for the millionth person to say “time for Atlas to shrug?”
Or was that prize distributed already?
The phrase might be a cliche but the sentiment is valid.
I have been a lurker here for years, but now feel it is time to jump in. I worked with Rick at the Chgo Board of Trade...good guy and speaks his mind! My son just called from the trading floor to say that the buzz has been going around that he might lose his job for this...PLEASE go to CNBC and send a compliment for him...we need his voice and more like him.
ANd his first bill should be the Santelli Amendment: Homeowners who’ve paid all their mortgage payments on time, who have less than 80% loan to equity (or have no mortgage) will receive a tax credit EQUAL TO the largest government payout to and on behalf of delinquent mortgage holders.
After all, those are likely the same people who are paying all the taxes.
Best of all: we can all get a side-splittingly good laugh when Obama/Pelosi tell us “WE CAN’T AFFORD IT!”. Can’t you just hear them? LOL!
This is a little like saying the Emperor was caught wearing no clothes! The Harvard Messiah is stumbling; this nation might put up a fight after all!

I don't know that he is any more outspoken than Kudlow...whom I also Love....Peter Schiff shows up regularly on his show and is advocating buying Gold...

I watched the segment live this AM. Thanks for the headzup on the “buzz”, as a result I sent a feedback email to CNBC as follows:
“Just a note to express my thanks to Rick Santelli for reporting so accurately this AM, the reaction of myself and millions of conservative Americans to the so called stimulus program as enacted by the liberal political element in our federal government. Rick is a brilliant reporter and deserves a bonus for sticking his neck out as he did on air this morning - I watched it in delighted astonishment.
Ever since i spread this far and wide to my web address book, I've been so busy responding to the return emails that I can't get any work done.
This is going viral in a great way.

Thank you for the hospitality, I know that I am in good company here...You are right about him being outspoken (when he is on TV)...This was totally out of character for him...he goes on to report what is happening on the financial floor and he actually was calmer on 9/11 when everyone was vacating the building.

I watched the video prior to logging into FR today. Perhaps such outburst shall reached the ears of Zero and his gang. But I doubt it will do much good. The agenda has been cast. Most probably using a very fast hardening concrete mix.
