Can't get enough of Barack Obama? How about an Obama license plate?
Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White today unveiled an "Illinois Salutes Barack Obama" temporary license plate, which can be used for 60 days beginning Tuesday.
The plates feature a smiling President Obama, seemingly gazing towards your temporary numbers. A waving American flag fills the background.
The plates are only good through April 17. They cost $50 -- with proceeds benefiting Illinois libraries.
The temporary "special event" plates are available at www.ila.org/obama.

No thanks. I prefer the Al Capone plates.

I wonder if the Illinois department of motor vehicles will allow the vanity plate “IMPEACH” on it.

During the campaign, I heard a lot of people wondering if obama was the antichrist. I dismissed them at the time. Now I’m not so sure.

“THE KINGFISH” would also be a popular plate.

For just $10, you can buy an Al Capone license plate FRAME and put it around your Obama plate:

It may be legal at the state level but it is a slippery slope.
To: melt
I’d like to get one just to “have fun” with it.

Obama's likeness everywhere on the tube, on the magazine racks, on license plates and elsewhere is starting to make me think of the cities of China where huge pictures of an ever-watchful Mao beaming down on all his children remind the masses not to stray in any way from the Shining Path.

At the federal level, there is a law about not putting the likeness of a person on a stamp or coin until after his death...this is a slippery slope indeed. By the end of the year we'll probably have laws requiring his picture to be displayed in every business, school, and everywhere else... just like they do in third-world dictatorships.

Wow. Even the digits are displaying their admiration for, or four, Zerobama!
