The new Vogue cover star is turning her favourite designers into stars - much to the disapproval of fashion's old guard
Although Michelle Obama has admitted - shockingly, considering the context - that she is less interested in clothes than politics and children in her upcoming interview in Vogue, after less than a month in the White House she is already proving to wield greater influence over the fashion world than the industry has known in years.

I didn’t have much problem with the gold outfit, although I would have never chosen such, but that white gown, although I hate to even do it the favor of calling it a gown, looked like it should have been worn by a 12-year-old at a middle school dance. It was not appropriate for a woman her age with her body type.

Bar code dress? Funny. She sure does like horsey fashion.

I am sick and tired of the magazines/media trying to cram Omarosa Obama’s fashion down our throats. It is atrocious! She just has an appearance that you cannot dress up. Cindy McCain, on the other hand, has a sense of class about her and it comes through in her appearance. Omarosa dresses in designer clothes-how does she do it on a President’s salary?

She is sure big on prints...and they are very big on her.

What do you think of the Bar Code Dress? Scan it for a taxpayer refund.

re Chelsea: “And everytime the Clintons trot her out its like Web Hubbell looking back from the grave.”
I would love to have some enterprising paparazzi or somebody get some DNA from Chelsea and have it compared to the Hubbell family. I’ll bet it would be a great match . . . AND A GREAT STORY.
That wife of Obama is about as ugly as her feelings for this country. You can’t wash away what the woman said about our country during the campaign. It was vicious and ugly.

Here's one that blondee123 fixed for us - I swiped it from another thread.
And here's another that shows she's the only one of the women on stage not in a formal dress:

She needs saddle shoes with most of those skirts.

I agree with you on Michelle, but what's with Cindy McCain in that pic? Looks like her pants suit only has a right leg.
Come on John, I know you were running low on funds but this is over the top....

Okay - I didn’t do the best job on that - it looked okay in preview. Sorry everyone!

Yes, me too. It's so incredibly inappropriate, even for a funeral.

The only woman with bare legs is Michelle. What a laugh. And Anna Wintour, of course, must insist on how chic is Michelle...
