No, no. Move it down, not up, to where people are more accountable.

Vermont has its political problems, but one good thing is that the government, despite all the moonbats here, is very small, and budgets are limited.

One major reason is that we have counties in Vermont but no county governments. That is a huge benefit, if you have ever taken a look at the spending by Westchester county, let’s say, or by the counties in a state like Maine, which rip off the taxpayers and give little or nothing back.

There’s all those local governments because people fled the cities and their local governments. There is no hope for this state until government employees pay, pensions, and other benefits are on par with the private sector which pays them.

It’s not the local governments.

It’s the democratic run state and all it’s stupid taxes and regulations.

Mr. mm used to own his own business and when he closed it he said that he would NEVER own a business in NYS again because the laws are so ridiculous.

The state is what’s driving businesses out. Yes, clean up crime, but clean up the state government as well.

This is from one of the people responsible for the mortgage crisis that brought about the current economic debacle. When pyromaniacs want to run the fire department and our own citizens elect the to office it’s time to bring out the bucket brigades.

“We talk about the dysfunction in Albany, and it’s true,” he said.
But the conversation about the dysfunction in Albany is, he said, too limited, usually restricted to “ethical dysfunction and campaign finance.”

Too limited? Maybe in his mind because he, like the rest of the leadership in Albany like the 3 men in a room dictatorship where only they wield power, no one else.

Have you see this book by Seymour Lachman, called Three Men in a Room? I spoke to him on Tuesday and will be hosting an event up here in Buffalo, getting him on the radio and a book signing. Everyone needs to read this book, I am right now. It is worse than most people think.
