So where do we as true conservatives go from here? Obviously, there is a communist takeover of this country occurring right here and now now. Would Alaska be far enough away that we could escape this tyranny? I'm 33 years old and I feel completely helpless. This is not the country I once knew. How else do we fight this communist oppression?
Or, as I like to call it, The Catastrophe.
You must stay and fight with the rest of us! Never give up. If you have children, raise them with the right knowledge of what this country was and what it is about to become. They will carry the torch.
If you are feeling alone, you may want to join this group. I don’t know what the long term plans are, but for now it’s for those of us who don’t want to feel alone.

They’ll put a stop to that, pretty soon, if they can.
0bama’s patronage system will make life VERY HARD on dissenters.
This is the thought that keeps me going too. I mentioned it last night after the campaign speech. We had to endure 4 years of national shame and misery to get 8 years of reform that launched 20 years of pride and hope. While I hope for the best for our country always, I also hope that if is going to go bad, it goes very bad so that we get another opportunity. I have children to think about. I would rather it go bad now than when they are old enough to feel the pain.
That's the deal, we'd GLADLY let them go, but that's not in their mindset. Their mindset is complete control over your behaviors and thinking.
Get a resolution out of your state legislature that the US Constitution is the law of the land, and that it is not a living document, but can only be changed by amendment. Cite Scalia on that resolution. Require the state to analyse and determine whether a law being enforced in the state is Constitutional; create a new state "federalism" agency if you don't want to take away from the attorney general's time. Explain to the feds why their law is unconstitutional. Avoid confrontation at this stage, but don't apologize for following the law of the land.
Get more states to join in this effort, because the more there are, the more power the movement will have for when it reaches the next stage. The next stage is to refuse to follow unconstitutional edicts. If the feds come in and use force, well they probably still can, but they will get a lot of people riled up, and help the movement gain adherents.
Pass some laws that are clearly constitutional, but which the fiat courts have said are not--regarding abortion, or religious observance, or criminal procedure or penalties, or labor laws. Refuse to acknowledge the federal courts when they claim to strike them down.
When the time is right, and with the approval of sister states, the state should then pass a resolution refusing to follow the unconstitutional edicts of the federal government. Like the Declaration of Independence, the resolution should recite all the unconstitutional and tyrannical actions of the federal government, and declare that when the compact by which the nation was formed is ignored, then the breach permits dissolution of the union.
Then be prepared to defend your freedom. Pray that the military is on the side of the Constitution, and will not allow itself to be used to destroy those who defend it.
Obama knows that he can't do all the things he wants because the people who are in the military are the people who love the real America. That is why he wants to create a federal police force that is as strong as the military. Fight to prevent this gestapo from coming into being, it will make freedom that much harder to defend.
I think we should start looking at ways to use their “new laws” against them. Don’t need ID to prove you’re legal to get some “stimuli”? No one has to know where it’s going....
You’ve got my mindset down pretty well there.
Turtle up. Don’t consume except as necessary. Take every legal tax deduction possible. Donate as much as you can to keep the gov’t from getting it.
There is a "third way". Let's throw the socialist states out. These United States of America, the states that still believe in the Constitution, could simply expel Massachusetts, New York, California, and the other extremely liberal states. We're not seceding, we're tossing them out! I like that idea a whole lot more than I like the idea of civil war, not that I think Dear Leader has what it takes to fight a civil war against the states that still have a Second Amendment. Also, I don't think our military would get involved if the country split sensibly and peacefully.
The United Red Counties of America. We secede, pure and simple. The blue counties produce nothing but Marxism while we produce the food, raw materials and machinery that they need to survive. In return for providing them with their survival, they spit on us and our values, and make it ever more difficult for us to earn a living. F**K 'EM! It's time to say enough! THE UNITED RED COUNTIES OF AMERICA!
Super Goliath Mega Ditto!
The fairness doctrine’s goal is to remove the soap box.
The jury box (judiciary) has long been under leftist control.
They’re taking the ballot box with gov’t funded fraud and control of the census.
Guys... you’re leaving only one box left. And remember what triggered the Revolution - attempting to confiscate an armory.
No way will the socialists let anyone opt out. They have come this far and their final goal is in sight. They are not going to let an organized resistance movement take root.
They will turn our own military on us with ruthless vengeance and we won't have the same protections they give to our real enemies.
They are building the prisons for an American Gulag right now. They are just calling them FEMA National Emergency Centers which sounds less threatening.
Secretary of Homeland Security to establish national emergency centers on military installations.
Marines Admit "Security Force" To Operate Inside U.S.
"Following Northcom's denial that U.S. Army combat teams would be used to deal with "civil unrest" after the announcement that thousands of active duty military personnel were being moved inside the United States, an Army.com report now concedes that more than 400 Marines assigned to one unit includes a "security force" that would operate within the homeland.
A September 8 Army Times report stated that active duty troops from the 3rd Infantry Divisions 1st Brigade Combat Team returning from Iraq would be on call as a "federal response force for natural or manmade emergencies and disasters, including terrorist attacks," for a period of 12 months from October 1st.
This preceded a December 1 Washington Post article which reported on plans to station 20,000 more U.S. troops inside America for purposes of domestic security from September 2011.
According to the Army Times article, their duties would include dealing with civil unrest and crowd control. This admission was later denied by Northcom's operations division chief Army Col. Michael Boatner, who told Homeland Security Today, "This response force will not be called upon to help with law enforcement, civil disturbance or crowd control, but will be used to support lead agencies involved in saving lives, relieving suffering and meeting the needs of communities affected by weapons of mass destruction attacks, accidents or even natural disasters."
However, a January 7 American Forces Press Service story posted on Army.com confirms that at least some units operating inside the U.S. will rely on a "security force" to provide protection for troops responding to a mass casualty event in America.
.
Well I think it’s clear the United States is, and has been for some time, engaged in a Civil War. it’s not a shooting one but it’s real.
Quite frankly, I don’t see the country “coming together” as it were. It hasn’t been together for quite some time. Maybe that wacky Russian talking about the split up of the U.S. wasn’t that far off.
Here is an honest answer.
Liberal ideas and social lobbying groups are very well funded and organized with the help of politicians. Being well funded means we first need some big money individuals with some political influence. Then we need conservative politicians to help promote the funding of “grass roots” groups to get the conservative education about economics and social responsibility to the masses.
Here is our biggest problem, you need some very skilled organizers that are interested in working for peanuts instead of the private sector.
They can beat me like a rented mule but they can never control my mind...
Don't forget that somewhere north of 85% of our armed service men and women come from red counties. Far from not getting involved, I'm convinced they'd get involved on our side.
Our States may be our last best hope....can we gather some muscle from our state legislators who are patriots?
Our reps in DC obviously do not fear us.
We need more power....
