I disagree. Those who haven’t swallowed the Kool-Aid are wondering who the double talking, say nothing babbler was. It wasn’t the slick teleprompter reader they had become accustomed to.

Obama clearly wants to say a dozen different things, and he’s feeling his way into the words that best express his feel for the answer to the question he was asked.”

Even the loonies are starting to get it. ;)

the loonies aren't getting it....the loonies are spinning it.

If he picks his nose, they will run with their tongues out to eat the booger.

A Great Communicator? Missed what the pundits saw.

I watched the whole thing as Lent is approaching & it’s time to prepare for that. Sacrifice & whatnot.

First thing that caught my attention - Bam’s head flips to the left and right, but never straight ahead, during his opening remarks. Looked like it was motor controlled. Real people don’t do that. I reckon that no teleprompter was facing the TV camera. This was distracting.

His answers were so long, that many times I couldn’t remember what the question was. How is THAT great communication?

The huffington post had a representative that was called on - who wasted his golden opportunity with a dopey question. Nice way to make that “news source” irrelevant.

It’s nice to see that despite her advanced age, Helen Thomas hasn’t lost a step.

No code pink f-tards hauled out. Bummer.

Overall, it was a waste of a good hour of my life.

I know he’s married and has kids, but 0bama still strikes me as a little “gay” (not that there’s anything wrong with that).

He came across as angry and condescending, IMO. Nearly an hour of saying nothing at all was entirely too much to endure. I started to wonder if he was going to hijack TV time on a regular basis like his friend Castro.

I watched 5 minutes and couldn’t figure out what the hell he was saying.

His mind was either ten minutes ahead, or ten minuted behind, but it sure wasn’t there when he opened his mouth.

In a word, Obama was boring tonight.

What change?

It was same cradle to grave liberalism Democrats are famous for. The idea that more spending and bigger government is what is needed to save the nation, is same worn out phony baloney crappola the Democrats have been pushing on America for the last 75 years!

This ain't utopia, Barry.

The American people will like what he said tonight and his poll numbers will rise.

That's next to impossible because no one understood pretty much anything he was talking about. His thoughts were disconnected, he was humorless and unclear about whatever it was he was attempting to communicate. Unless like very small infants who only respond to soothing vocal tones, nobody was actually inspired or informed by this presser.

The difference is that when W just simply didn’t know how to begin to answer the question, Obama clearly wants to say a dozen different things, and he’s feeling his way into the words that best express his feel for the answer to the question he was asked.

Oh this is so entertaining... Bush "doesn't know how to begin to answer the question" but Obama is searching for a way to express himself. The other day on CNBC when they read aloud a direct transcript of an Obama interview complete with "gonna"'s and the like - they had to declare that Obama talks like a regular person sometimes. But of course if Bush had said that it immediately becomes a "Bushism". You know because when Bush talks like a "regular person" it's because he's stupid.

From following the thread (I didn’t watch it.) Obama wandered all over the place and really couldn’t answer questions.

Worse than Bush by far.

I simply cannot listen to anything this person has to say, because I know that every word out of his mouth is a lie. He is a smarty-pants sociopath lawyer right out of the same mold as BJ and Hillary Clinton. I never imagined that anything worse than the Clintons was possible. Where do we come up with these people? Is America so far gone, so corrupt, so decadent and degenerate that evil is now triumphant?

Looked like it was motor controlled.

I didn't see the press conference. It sounds fascinating. Is BO perhaps an animatronic figure?
