Cheney warns of new attacks

Former Vice President Dick Cheney warned that there is a “high probability” that terrorists will attempt a catastrophic nuclear or biological attack in coming years, and said he fears the Obama administration’s policies will make it more likely the attempt will succeed.

In an interview Tuesday with Politico, Cheney unyieldingly defended the Bush administration’s support for the Guantanamo Bay prison and coercive interrogation of terrorism suspects.

And he asserted that President Obama will either backtrack on his stated intentions to end those policies or put the country at risk in ways more severe than most Americans — and, he charged, many members of Obama’s own team — understand.

“When we get people who are more concerned about reading the rights to an Al Qaeda terrorist than they are with protecting the United States against people who are absolutely committed to do anything they can to kill Americans, then I worry,” Cheney said.

Five activists arrested in G20 ‘bomb plot’ as London goes into lockdown for world leaders

Five people suspected of terrorist offences are being questioned by police today in connection with an alleged plot to target the G20 summit.
Three men and two women have been arrested under the Terrorism Act in Plymouth over the last three days after officers uncovered a cache of weapons and suspected extremist material during a house search.
They are being questioned over claims they planned to target the meeting of the world’s most powerful political leaders in London later this week.......

On Feb. 20, 2009, authorities arrested Ahmadullah Sais Niazi. Unindicted co-conspirator CAIR and the professional shills on their payroll are out to destroy those who prosecute America’s enemies. Platinum Jet co-founders, pilot plead not guilty

Two co-founders of a luxury charter jet company pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of violating federal aviation rules and indirectly causing a 2005 plane crash at New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport.

The Brassingtons, who hail from British Guyana but live in Florida, had their attorneys enter their pleas before U.S. District Court Judge Joseph A. Greenaway Jr.

Francis Vieira, a Florida-based pilot for Platinum who faces a conspiracy count and 16 counts of making false statements, also pleaded not guilty.

Three other Platinum officials, including co-founder Andre Budhan of North Lauderdale, Fla., pleaded not guilty earlier this month.

Attorneys for the Brassingtons and Vieira did not comment after Wednesday’s arraignment.

The 23-count indictment unsealed in February accuses Platinum of operating without the proper certifications, using unqualified pilots, lying to federal investigators and underreporting the weights of planes in order to load them up with cheap fuel without exceeding prescribed weight limits.

Another owner of the flight school in Venice Florida that trained Mohamed Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi to fly is in trouble with the law; current owner Arthur G. Nadel, 75, was arrested recently for running a Ponzi scheme which methodically looted investors in his Sarasota-based hedge funds of more than $300 million.

New York tabloids, already in overdrive on the story of Bernard Madoff, instantly dubbed Nadel Mini-M, for Mini-Madoff....

Venice ‘Terror’ Fight School Owner Arrested

The owner of the flight school in Venice FL where the two hijackers who crashed airliners into the World Trade Center took flight lessons, was arrested last May after assaulting his 17-yr old step-daughter outside a sports bar in Naples, Florida.

78-year old Wallace J. Hilliard of Naples FL was charged with misdemeanor battery on May 28 2008, according to Collier County, FL arrest records.

In the seven years since 9/11 Wally Hilliard has remained embroiled in controversy. He is currently the subject of a multi-jurisdictional fraud investigation into a scheme which may have cost investors as much as $100 million.

Though no charges have yet been filed, the FBI and investigators from the state of have interviewed numerous witnesses, including over 50 people from Wisconsin who lost millions. They allege Hilliard never alerted investors that he was under investigation, had a federal tax liability going back to 2001, and had been denied an airline license by the FAA.....
