That’s a beautiful story! Well, you’re right about God’s providence. If we look to him and learn to listen. As my favorite verse says,”Be still and know that HE IS God.” I truly did not understand what that meant... BE STILL. He is not speaking physically, but spiritually. If we will stop our spinning, doing, and worrying, then we can learn to discern his voice.
I know what you mean, though. I’ve been really delinquent about my devotion time!! Grace is a beautiful thing...

Several reasons. First the coronation was to have this sail through with fear gerrymandered sufficiently to get at least a dozen Republicans in the Senate and double or more in the House.
So he’s losing the air of royalty the media set up along with the expectations that this was a done deal. Remember, Nancy Pelosi was writing this in her office since before Christmas.
In addition, after the Republicans in the House stiffened, it was a shock to the political class. The Republicans were suppose to be in fear of the Messiah’s ratings and crumble. They didn’t.
And now with every passing hour, more Americans hear the truth about the details of this bill and are asking themselves, how is spending this, an insane $1 TRILLION going to help us now. And it’s clear that a lot of this spending will JUST CONTINUE.
So even though Michelle is out having a grand time, Rahm is telling Obama, your cachet is being crushed by the Republican resistance by the minute and Democrat Senators are pissing their pants with the support crumbling in their home states.

Does anyone know why he had to fly anywhere? Maybe I missed that? Why didn’t he just make this speech from the WH press room or someplace there? I can’t understand why he flew 131 miles to make this speech.

As I understand it, he went to some Democrat only event to make his little speech. Chicken.

That’s exactly what I was thinking as I watched him. He looked like he was having a temper tantrum on national TV!
If this ass tries anything like that, there will be REAL Million Man gatherings in DC (not the phony ones from the Clinton years).
Apparently, Obama is giving marching orders to the minions across the country. Obama flew to the RAT retreat that they say is an annual event—don’t know if it’s always in Williamsburg or if they have it in different places. Meanwhile, across the country RATS at other levels of government—state and local—were having pep rallies to go out and proclaim how marvelous Obama is and how we must have his stimulus package. “Obama will take care of us.” “Obama’s stimulus plan is the only thing that will save us.” And so on. Those are direct quotes from a RAT get-together that hubby witnessed tonight. He said the room was full of mentally ill (literally), handicapped, and other needy individuals. They were given marching orders. They portrayed the event as something that Republicans were invited to participate in, but it was a “we need Obama’s stimulus plan” event through and through.
These people are evil and must be defeated. All moderate democrats should take heed. They will not be in government for long.
