There are almost 5000 ballots that are put back in play as a result. Coleman may still have a chance.

“There are almost 5000 ballots that are put back in play as a result. Coleman may still have a chance. “

Where are they from?

He may not have a chance of winning, but he’s still doing the lord’s work. Dems need to know their limits.

In view of the Gregg letdown and its implications, this news about Coleman has cheered me up a little.

Sheesh, there's never a dull moment in our government and political scene anymore, is there. I have to tear myself away from FR and breaking news to take care of life's little chores.....and find myself running back constantly to see what bizarre or startling news has just cropped up.

Coleman's ACU (American Conservative Union) rating hovers around 68. He's been as high as 84.

Just for the sake of comparison, the ACU ratings for the GOP Floradora Girls, Collins and Snowe (both from a socialist state like Coleman), is around 32 for each.

Comparisons are odious, so they say, but at least we see that Coleman is more than double in conservatism than the odious Doublemint Twins from Maine.

We could do worse than Sen. Coleman, in other words, given the weirdo socialist voters in his state.

The state bird of Minnesota, by the way, is the Common Loon, which is eerily apropos.

Look it up if you don't believe me, LOL.

I’m afraid to admit this, but part of me wants franken to steal the victory. Having him in congress “helping” the rats spread their message is probably going to help us more than having 1 more Republican senator.

In other words I think Franken may hurt the democrats more than coleman can help us. Not knocking coleman...it’s just that Franken is that bad.

I just about blew a gasket today. Try Googling "former senator Norm Coleman".

Goebbels would have died from envy...

“Lucky” Lyndon Johnson won his US Senate Texas seat in a recount situation where a ballot storage house burned down before a recount could happen.

It was said that large numbers of already dead people “voted” in that election.

Powerline has been wrong on almost everything regarding the
Minnesota senate race. The only reason it’s good news is because Coleman automatically loses if they don’t count any more ballots.

I think your source is PowerLine, not PewerLine, right?:)

And a good source it is, as they are located in or at least from, Minnesota.

Hallelujah, There is Hope. Any country that willingly elects Franken deserves his bad governance. Frankly I can't believe it has been this close.

Coleman has been front and center on Romney's free and strong America PAC, since Chambliss won. Romney has been helping fund his legal defense team.

I would bet that the court also orders the counties to use the same standard when counting ballots and then recount them.

Dang, I clicked on this thread hoping that Gary Coleman was declared the winner of the election for Governor here in California.

This report (link), hot off the press, signifies a victory for Norm Coleman in the election contest with Al Franken: the court hearing the contest has ruled that "all absentee ballots that complied with state law should be counted, along with those where errors occurred through no fault of the voter." Franken has been trying to prevent a number of ballots that complied with state law from being counted.
Is Franken already voting? If so, and Coleman winds up certified as the winner, none of Franken's votes can be included in the totals.

The image below is NOT Photoshopped, btw. It's the real deal...

If Al Franken becomes "Senator Franken", remember this photo. ;-)

Although I have serious questions about Coleman, I'd rather he win than the tax dodger, crooked, simple minded Fraken.

Any truth in the matter that Coleman and his wife put a $750K addition to his home? How could he afford that kind of a home?
Is he a self made millionaire or something?
