Apparently, President Barack Obama thought that Jessica Simpson's weight was something he needed to make fun of during his pre-Super Bowl interview with Matt Lauer on NBC Sunday. Seriously. Obama called Jessica Simpson a fatty on national TV.
Lauer displayed for the audience the cover of a recent issue of the tabloid entertainment magazine US Weekly that featured the President's wife and daughters and also had an insert photo pushing a story about singer Simpson.
As he viewed the cover, Obama decided to smack the singer down for "losing a weight battle."

I can only speculate on what size Michelle wears, I don’t think she would fit into Jess’ clothes, that’s all I’m sayin’

This stuff happens when a person is fixated on how perfect and wonderful he is. I blame the media somewhat for this gaffe. Apparently the new POTUS is a gaffe prone as his VP!!! However, this too will be covered up.
Oh, and one other thing. Pres. Barry H. Obama is not really a very nice guy underneath all the hoopla. I think his manners reflect 15 years of listening to the non-Christian rantings of a lunatic preacher.

How do you think the 30% who are overweight - including Oprah, will view this little snarky comment? He will make himself a one term President.

except the tabloid did use a lot of quotes from Obama’s own musings from his own “ghost written” memoir, about past problems in his marriage and power struggles with the ambitious Michelle over his political career

Yeah, if that’s what he did, even giving him the benefit of the doubt, he doesn’t think real fast on his feet.
Between thoughts about “rusty trombones” I’m thinking why in the heck does this guy care about getting bumped off a cover of a magazine? He’s been on every magazine cover to hit the stands in the last year and probably most of them at least twice. Is he that starved for the attention?! What an @$$.
