One of the things the anti-gunners never mention is homemade guns. At the url, there is a tab on top "photos" that gives a nice picture of the well made homemade submachinegun.

IIRC, during the Second World War the Brits, who had production bottleneck problems, airdropped a set of dies to the Danish resistance so that they could make their own Sten guns in a toy factory they had access to.

If your assumption is that no one knows how to do anything, in a rubber room liberal world it all makes sense.

big whoop. it looks like a sten to me
"Police are concerned that it is an amalgam of parts" Stens have always been home made frankenstein type things.
That said, these were obviously bad guys.

"It looks like a hybrid or amalgam of gun parts," said police Det. Const. Rob Duttchen, a member of the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team. Psst Joe. Is it to late to get that fag Frank to put one of those National Weapons Enforcement Support Teams in the Bill for us?

I hope the politicians stay up late at night wondering just how many homemade guns there are out there and I hope you all start making a few for yourselves. The realization of that HOPE could lead to real CHANGE for the better in this country.

Looks like a S&W 76 mated to some non-standard parts, like an AR-15 grip.

There used to be a display room of hand made firearms at Sing Sing prison. They were many and varied and all had one thing in common: They were made in prison by prisoners and used in escape attempts and sometimes just to kill someone for revenge. The most notable example that I saw was one with a barrel made from a curtain rod that used rectangular bullets and match heads for propellant. It worked, and had been used to kill a guard during an escape.
The point being this: If you can't "control" guns in a prison, a tightly controlled mini society, then how the hell are you going to do so in the real world? The answer is: You can't. Politicians know this, they are not stupid they are very cunning and simply want to disarm law abiding citizens in order to control us. Period.
As a PS, Guns and Ammo magazine did an article on the gun room back in the 1960s, it is possible they still have pictures of the guns in their archives if someone wanted to take the trouble to contact them about it.

Why should they be surprised? In the mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan, they turn out thousands of hand made guns using crude tools that are every bit as deadly as government and factory produced firearms. These weapons are “counterfeit” AKs, Mausers, and others, and they’re very high quality.

I have trouble picturing a gun that would take no expertise and no knowledge to make.
