The mother who gave birth to octuplets - giving her a grand total of 14 children - has said her babies are 'miraculous'. But as more details emerged...neighbours raised questions over whether her children will have a father in their lives at all.
The woman's mother...confirmed the octuplets were indeed the result of fertility treatment - and...had had the opportunity to abort one or more...but turned it down.
It was also revealed that the woman's father - a contractor - may be forced to return to work in Iraq to help support his 14 grandchildren.
Cramped: This two or three bedroom bungalow
in Whittier, California home to the woman who gave birth
to octuplets this week
Residents....where the unidentified mother lives said they have never seen the woman who they said looks to be Hispanic - with anyone who looked like a boyfriend or husband.
A neighbour...said: 'I dont think she is married or has a partner."
Concerns...also raised over the family's home...
But the babies' grandfather said the family have a far larger house elsewhere....
'We have a huge house, not here....'You are never going to know where it is.'
...The mother of the octuplets is believed to be 33.

Maybe she’s breeding a sleeper cell :)
Sounds like Muslim/Arab and father vs. grandfather questions are answered. What isn't answered is whether or not she is a citizen, and where the father(s) is(are).
LOL,,,, ya think?

Suleman is not an hispanic name.
You mean “virginal conception,” i.e., the conception of Jesus by Mary, without a human father.
The “Immaculate Conception” is the conception of Mary, who had a human mother and human father, without Original Sin.
That's presuming they get jobs. Chances are, they're going to learn the life of a welfare family in America.
again - british news giving us info not found in american media?
I would agree with you if we had the facts on whether or not they are taking public assistance which at this time we don’t.
I agree. I have a feeling that we may have helped with some of the delivery but that is only a guess. The doctors could have done some of the work pro-bono but again not sure.
I cant believe you are advocating adopting out a women’s children when you have no evidence that she has abused or neglected them. Taking children from their parents should only be done in proven cases of abuse and only after ever effort has been made to reconcile the family should the children be adopted out. You should be ashamed that you even thought that. What is happening to our liberty when someone on a conservative forum would advocate the removal and adoption of children because a woman made a selfish decison? I am truly scared for our freedom!
I don’t know what the answer is but the eight babies COULD end up being productive members of society. I am hoping that she had insurance to help pay for these kids, but again we just don’t know pretty much anything...lol. Having a father in the picture would be a help. Actually, I wonder about the first six kids...where is the father there??? I truly don’t believe we will find out any of these answers.
In the case of the mother of the octuplets, it's quite possible that she is still a virgin despite giving birth to 14 children, a very strange story indeed. I do hope the doctor who tansferred 8 embryos will be identified and scrutinized and that the outcome will be the establishment of strict medical standards regarding the practice of invitro and other fertility proceedures such as manditory psych and socio-economic evaluations and limits on the number of fertilized eggs transferred.
The odds are very slim, statistically proven, that these children, without a father around, will grow up to be productive citizens.
And have the other cultures pay for it when possible.
+1
True...but look at the President.../sarc.
