Look at the bright side. It took Republicans two months longer in 1993 to figure out the Clinton’s, a full year to figure out Jimmy Carter in 1977.

They now know what kind of political enemy the new President will be, and as such it will be even EASIER to vote against legislation the next time.

Like on gun control, fairness doctrine, tax hikes, global warming, etc.

Excellent point. The downside is that in 1993, we actually had a GOP Senate caucus with enough Republicans to put up a fight and stop some of the garbage, like the stimulus and like socialized healthcare. 41 GOP Senators is a bit like the Alamo. We will fight bravely, but outcomes will be pre-ordained.

Have never seen it happen this fast. I didn’t like Clinton but it took me longer then a week to loathe the man. The minute ZERO said “I Won” all bets were off. He is in charge so he can live with it! We need to prop up the Republican Senators to vote NO!
