(Malmö, Sweden): Rosengård 'growing more radical'

Please allow me to pose a question besides posting this article.

If you really don't have the time, just skip all of the text preceding the below sentence reading "The article:". ---

"The mind is a powerful tool", it is commonly said.

There sure are several things which we humans can not accomplish assisted by our sheer intelligence and power of will, but there are much fewer things we are unable of achieving by using these gifts.

This insight is not merely inspirational.

It also is intrinsic to understanding the development of world history since the days of the Renaissance. The optimism among educated people of that epoch (not only the intellectual elite) concerning the bright future and potential of mankind was incredible considering the fact those days were marked by epidemics, wars, oppression, starvation etc, etc and so on and so on..

I might not be in the possession of a superior IQ (unlike my brother, who's utterly convinced all bosses he's ever worked under throughout his career to have been mentally inferior to average leaders of baboon flanges). Still, when I look back on my 39 years on this planet, I'm pretty amazed by some things I have accomplished - and if you don't feel this way about your own life, then I'd say you ought to reconsider the way you view yourself.

Anyhow, while I understand much of what both Leonardo da Vinci and Einstein (an Austrian guy who used to work for the Swiss Patent Office in Bern) discovered, invented and imagined, there is one single aspect of human thought that still remains an unfathomable mystery to me.

So far, I haven't been able to understand why something like 90% of all European politicians do so little in order to prevent mass Muslim immigration.

What's the great plan behind this never-ending farce?

Yes, admittedly, many Muslims in Europe work hard, are law abiding and few of them are potential suicide bombers - and like most people here on Free Republic, I'm well aware how wrong it is generalize about ethnic and other groups - BUT that's completely irrelevant considering the harm Muslim immigration de facto is causing Europe and the even more important fact that regardless of conventions regulating war refugees, PC talk and Multiculturalist hallucinations:

THE VAST MAJORITY OF US EUROPEANS DON'T WANT THEM HERE.

That is the will of the European population and politicians who do not respect it simply are enemies of democracy and of Europe.

Something I don't have a hard time figuring out is why I so often hear of younger sons and daughters of my nation hailing pure racist ideologies which indeed is bad news - and furthermore one of the many examples of the negative consequences of mass Muslim immigration to Sweden. Something important here is that young people, often, are unable of distinguishing between the view that an ethnic group has a right of preserving its heritage and views that involve true racism.

The article:

"A majority of Rosengård's inhabitants believe the troubled Malmö suburb has undergone a radicalization over the past five years, a new study shows.

Experts believe the city council needs to be allocated greater financial resources if it is to get to grips with the rise of political and religious extremism.

Researchers Magnus Ranstorp and Josefine Dos Santos from the Center for Asymmetric Threat Studies at the Swedish National Defence College were tasked by the government with examining the effects of preventive measures taken in Sweden against violent extremism and radicalization.

As part of their studies, the researchers conducted extensive interviews with school personnel and police officers active in the Rosengård district.

The vast majority of respondents were of the view that the predominantly immigrant suburb had become considerably more radical over the last five years.

Ranstorp and Dos Santos describe how "ultra-radical" Islamists attached to basement mosques "preach isolation and act as thought controllers while also maintaining a strong culture of threats, in which women in particular are subjected to physical and psychological harassment."

"Newcomer families who were never particularly traditional or religious say they lived more freely in their home countries than they do in Rosengård," the researchers write.

Rosengård district committee chairman Andreas Konstantinides (SocDem) said he shared the researchers' concerns about "thought police" controlling the climate of expression in the area.

"I actually think these radical individuals are limited in number. But they exert an influence through manipulation and exploiting the situation."

Konstantinides said he viewed the moderate Muslim majority, who are irritated and concerned by the radicals, as a resource with which to counteract their rise.

"We need to try to mobilize the forces for good. We cooperate well with the Islamic Center, for example, which runs the main mosque in Malmö," he said.

Integration and Equality Minister Nyamko Sabuni reacted strongly to the report.

"It is completely unacceptable that there are fundamentalist groups in Rosengård prescribing child marriage, harassing women who don't wear headscarves and encouraging young people to isolate themselves from society. Swedish laws, rights and equality apply to everybody, including the residents of Rosengård," Sabuni said in a statement.

The minister added that a series of coordinated measures were necessary in order to tackle radicalization, involving schools, social services and the police.

Rosengård was the scene of extensive rioting in December following the closure of an Islamic cultural centre in the area."

Fox News visited Rosengård some years ago:

Unfortunately, Fox News didn’t do their homework. They apparently confused statistics concerning the unemployment rate of Rosengård, which is a residential area in Malmö of 23 000 inhabitants with figures for the whole city of Malmö (283 000 inhabitants in the municipality/township/kommun, 628 000 people in the metro area).

What's the great plan behind this never-ending farce?

The answer is quite simple. The organized left has used democracy to divide and conquer the disorganized middle-class. They define groups in the population -- blacks, women, and homosexuals as disadvantaged. They work them to break down the political will and power of the working middle-class male. They find other groups, the lazy worker, who congregates into unions to join with the so called disadvantaged. Now the disorganized middle-class male has to work harder to support his family and has no time or special days off to take the political fight to the left. Meet the new serf. Disorganized you.

THE VAST MAJORITY OF US EUROPEANS DON'T WANT THEM HERE.

This American doesn't want them there either; because if the 21st century is anything like the 20th, my sons and brothers will soon be over there cleaning up your mess.

- Makes sense.

Throughout history, stunning political careers have been founded on the susceptibility among average men to the idea that they, the average guys, belong to the most disadvantaged dwellers of this planet.

In places like America and Western Europe of today, however, most voters realize that:

- neither is the average guy by and by becoming poorer (even though many of the rich indeed are getting richer). It's simply too obvious that Capitalism has made us extremely well-off from a historical as well as a global perspective

- the aspects of our lives we view as negative are not dependent on the success of other, competing, nations (like Mussolini tried to make the Italians think by portraying Italy like the “proletarian” among Western nations - “La nazione proletaria”).

Many average, middle class Swedes/Germans/Americans etc don't exactly apologize for living in nice homes and driving around in Volvos, BMWs or gas guzzling SUVs etc, but some members of this “caste” seem to think:

- they “owe” something to weaker social groups of their countries

- they “owe” people in foreign parts of the world

- they and their families, somehow, could benefit from a government who gives support to weaker groups of people.

Another circumstance that benefits politicians like the ones who presently “lead” Europe is the fact that many good men and women of this continent simply can't mobilize enough willpower to protest against the immigration policies of most European nations of today for reasons like:

- the overwhelming PC propaganda that surround us all

- the lingering results of Nazi, Fascist and Communist terror towards ordinary people (something that didn't affect lives in my country directly during the last century - while it might be of some importance in this context that many Swedes watched these tragedies take place and felt as if they had to do at least something about it)

- the unwillingness to deal with evil

Confuscius taught:

“Look not at what is contrary to propriety; listen not to what is contrary to propriety; speak not what is contrary to propriety; make no movement which is contrary to propriety”

Very well, but first we have to take a look at what we actually ought to consider as “propriety”.

It hardly is the PC standards European politicians and authorities try to impose on average Europeans of today.

“This American doesn’t want them there either; because if the 21st century is anything like the 20th, my sons and brothers will soon be over there cleaning up your mess.”

- That’s the spirit!

We Europeans ought to feel a great deal of gratitude towards America.

On behalf of Europe, I hereby solemnly welcome each and every true armed American who believes Europe ought to be ruled by freedom loving Europeans just like America forever ought to be governed by freedom loving sons and daughters of America.

In return, please hand my nation the coordinates of suitable Liberal targets in America our Gripen pilots could use for practice! (Apologies for this poor joke, cheers to America and all Americans like you!)
