Ever since I first learned of these rules, I haven’t been able to understand how they could have been out there for so many years, that the right couldn’t possibly be unaware of them, and after all this time they either still act as if they’re unaware of of them, or haven’t in all these years learned to counter them. It’s not as if they’ve been a secret all these years (at least I would hope not, for politicians whose business it is to know these things), it’s not as if it hasn’t been clear that the left has utilised them all these years-why has the right not come up with any effective defense and offense against them?
McLAME, Grahamnesty, and the rest of the GANG of 14 (or whichever) did a good enough job at separating the Conservatives from the GOP... me being ONE of them.

I read on Huff’s Post that Bill Bennett came out today against Rush.
And I’m glad our economy isn’t tanking, so that 0-bama can focus on rescinding things like aid for international abortions, high emission standards, etc. /sarc

Yes, sorry. Bill Bennett the old Drug Czar, yes. He has a radio show and a CNN gig. He apparently said this on CNN. He stated that he disagreed with the statement Rush had said about “hoping Obama would fail”.....

I doubt that was exactly what was said at all by Rush.
I have noticed in most all interviews of people who voted Obama that they knew nothing about Obama’s history, policies and couldn't name any accomplishments.
Seems to me they wanted him because he could be the first Black President.
I do think President Bush screwed up by letting Democrats off the hook as to who started the financial crisis.
It was basically Democrats creating affirmative action in housing for broke people.
What a stew of trouble this country has with this new President at this time.
I respect the office, wish our President safety and good health, but I ALSO want him to fail politically regarding most of his proposals.
He didn’t like Rush saying “I hope he fails.” He thought Rush could have chosen better words. OK, fine.....
