Ten Dems Obama should watch out for
Politico ^ | January 21, 2009 | Glenn Thrush

Even if Democrats don’t agree with Barack Obama on everything, who among them would challenge a president with a 73 percent approval rating?

He’ll soon find out.

Sooner or later, the bonhomie of Obama’s Inauguration will dissipate — and the novelty of having a soul mate in the Oval Office will give way to intense internal debates over the extent and substance of Democratic change.

Either that, or some people will just get on Obama’s nerves.

The president’s friends might not become his enemies. But here are 10 Democrats — and some runners-up — who could soon find themselves on the White House Frenemies List:

1. Rep. John Conyers Jr. (D-Mich.) — Conyers, the outspoken chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, hasn’t been shy about pressuring Obama — vowing to proceed with investigations into the Bush administration’s sacking of eight U.S. attorneys and other potential violations of federal law. Obama has said he prefers to “look forward” and not rehash the past — but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has indicated she’s open to allowing Conyers to proceed. Remember: In the 110th Congress, Conyers had to be talked down from pushing for the impeachment of President George W. Bush.

Hildabeast is #1.

This list is crap since it didn’t include her.

Does anyone truly believe the Clintons aren’t planning on Hillary still being President one day? I don’t.

They are pretty much all back-stabbers to reach the level to be near him. I would say whatever 10 are closest to him at any time... including that fellow in the mirror.

I would say Pelosi and Reid. They think they are the To p Dog now and Hussein is nobody. They think they can be the effective President.

If not president for the Grifter, payback. She was screwed by BO and his crew in the primaries (joined by the presstitutes and DNC) and the ‘Toons never forget. Watch. It will likely be served cold with no fingerprints...

I don't either. But president Urkle and pals are doing their best to put the dagger in that monster. That is the real reason she got Sec. of State. Killing their money lenders will go a long way toward that.

Remember: arrogance breeds greed, greed breeds pride, pride breeds hunger for power which ultimately leads to quarreling, fighting, back stabbing and eventual destruction of oneself. Pride and arrogance can be a very powerful ally to the oppressed....be patient, they will immanently self destruct.

I believe that would be VP, Speaker, and President Pro Tempore of Senate — then next comes Madam Secretary.

Who is Allen Boyd and why is he important?

Barbara Lee? Are you serious? Even her fellow Dems know that she’s a whack job.

Joe Biden? We will rarely hear from this fool again, and no one will miss it, except when they need a good laugh.

The rest are something to worry about for different reasons. For example, Feinstein, Webb and Baucus get to play serious statesmen for future runs at higher office.

Conyers and Waxman are completely out of control leftist committe chairs.

Inouye will probably push on veteran’s issues, but the guy is ancient.

Michelle may decide to become celibate and Obama is then left to find love in all the wrong places.

One thing's for certain: There are no Republicans on that list.

They're too frightened to stand up from their kneeling position.
