When Virginia Tech authorities arrived Wednesday night at a cafe inside the Graduate Life Center, they found a decapitated female victim who had arrived on campus just two weeks ago and a young man they have now charged with killing her.

I agree. Not her fault she found herself mixed up with this psycho.
There's a strange reaction to this sort of thing when the psycho is somebody essentially dropped from another culture into our world. You wonder what in their alien society created this twistedness.
Of course, there's a whole different set of weirdness you feel when somebody who is part of your culture snaps like this. Then you wonder what you've overlooked around here.

According to the Collegiate Times, the perp was holding the victim’s head in his hand when the police came in.

Oh puhleeese! Me for one. My daughter goes to VT. Violence on campuses is unfortunately not uncommon. Here in NJ Rutgers had a string of rapes in 2008. There was a murder at Rowan in October 2007. And it's not limited to NJ.

The worst part is that now we have word that the police were contacted about some weird and belligerant behavior on his part. Strange behavior by Asians shouldn’t be ignored here in Blacksburg.
Definitely something odd there - of course we have the Katrina refugees still killing other gangs here so I shouldn’t question a few asians in Blacksburg...

Not that Tech ever admits mistakes, but assigning a male to show the VT campus ropes to a female (a language dependent female) may be bad policy. Perhaps two students should be assigned to every international student.
Knives actually are banned from dorm rooms... (except for very small blades).
