Doctors say fatigue caused Kennedy's seizure

Doctors are blaming fatigue for the seizure that Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, ill with a brain tumor, suffered during a post-inauguration luncheon for President Barack Obama.

Dr. Edward Aulisi, Washington Hospital Center's neurosurgery chairman, says Kennedy is awake, talking with family and friends and feeling well.

It is a known fact brain tumors cause seizures.

People that have had a brain injury whether caused by trauma or surgery often do suffer seizures from fatigue. Unfortunately I know this from personal experience.

Fatigue is one of the major triggers for seizures. It is one way that they determine if you have a seizure disorder. They put you through a sleep deprived EEG.

It is no secret that lack of sleep can cause seizures. Because of this, it’s important to study the effects of sleep deprivation and according to Nathan Fountain, M.D., there is nothing better than using a sleep-deprived EEG.

There's not a person alive today who despises Fat Boy (a local Boston columnists nickname for him) more than do I.Except.perhaps,members of Mary Jo's family.But it's wrong to pray for his damnation.Yes,he'll probably wind up in the deepest part of Hell (that is,he won't repent to his Creator before death) but he should do so without any help from us.
