Benediction at Obama's inauguration, Rev. Joseph Lowery: 'Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get in the back, when brown can stick around... when the red man can get ahead man; and when white will embrace what is right. That all those who do justice and love mercy say Amen. Say Amen'...
The bottom line was: “Let's use the honor and gravitas of prayer and the American Presidency to degrade and insult the one racial group that has contributed 80% of what made America great.... and paid the taxes to pay the others’ welfare benefits, too.”
I was willing to give Obama the benefit of the doubt, to support him in his efforts because he is/was my President, until he supported something to hurt this country and her people.
He blew it in his first hour in office. In terms of respect, AMF.
Lowery, Wright, Obama; three beings, one thought process; Hate Whitey and blame Whitey for everything!
I'm Whitey and I am sick of it.
I would remind the “Reverend” that of the five most remembered names of the Civil Rights martyrs, King, Evers, Schwerner, Goodman, and Chaney, two were VERY white... and few Blacks of that era would dare say that they didn't “get it right!”
Schwerner and Goodman gave their lives for American Blacks. Shame on this dirty, race-baiting, little old man!
The only sword you give them is the sword that comes out of the Lord’s mouth Ephesians 6:17
Are we going to let these racists get away with this?
I will begin by trashing Hussein to everyone I meet, everyday, for the next 4 years.
They are all simply race-baiting trash, and I too will tell everyone I meet.
Great post.
Amen to that! Spot on post.
Thank you...thank you. I was so upset, I didn’t know how to properly communicate my thoughts. You did it so well. Thank you.
I find it unbelievable that during the United States Presidential Inauguration, someone would read the words to “The Black National Anthem.” I had to hear this sung in school as I was growing up, and wondered why it was often used in place of our own national anthem, back then.
“Lead us into the light,
Keep us forever in the path, we pray.
Lest our feet stray from the places, Our God, where we met Thee;
Lest, our hearts drunk with the wine of the world, we forget Thee;
Shadowed beneath Thy hand,
May we forever stand.
True to our GOD,
True to our native land James”
—Weldon Johnson June 17, 1871 - June
Rev. Lowery is just another example of the cult of the black pride movement in our country.
Re: “Are you talking about Obamas daughter? Do you have a link? I would like to know more about this.”

The quotes in question came from Obama daughter(s) — not sure which or if one made both statements. This was on TV last night, part of a recent interview Bambi had with perky Katie Couric. Apparently the remarks by the kid(s) were made after that nighttime visit to the Lincoln Memorial a few days ago.

I began trashing Hussein post election day, and to some degree before.... To date I have lost my boyfriend and two friends of VERY long standing because of it. And none of the three are what you’d call ultra far left.
Sad, but I simply cannot abide this insane deification of a big nothing Marxist like the Zero. I need to find new people — where do I find like-minded folks in the sewer that is Los Angeles?
