I have watched virtually every inauguration in my life. I’ve taught American government and love my country very much, but. . . I just can’t watch this man take the oath of office escorted by a syncophant media. It’s like being a witness to the reichstag burning. I hope I’m wrong. I hope I am so wrong!!

Wouldn’t it be funny if President Obama turned out to be a pragmatic centrist like Nixon, Clinton or GW Bush and pissed off liberals as much as W pissed off conservatives?

I can only hope and pray that he is smart enough to understand that Socialism and collectivism sounds good in theory but doesn’t work in reality.

By all accounts from the gushing Larry Kudlow and Will, he seems like a thoughtful and bright man. Maybe he is smarter than Pelosi and Reid.

The better question will be....if in 4 years Obama turns out to be a centrist, would you vote for him if the GOP ran a centrist RINO like Pawlenty against him?
