My opinion is that Israels lack of oil wealth is the only thing truly holding Gog/Magog from beginning.
I JUST started the Last Jihad...into chapter 3. it is an incredible parallel. But, those of us that believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God, and that Joel’s books are essentially Bible based, it’s all only a matter of time that we see more and more things happen that are tied together :)
If it were the US the environmental lawyers would be already lining up to stop further drilling.
Wonderful news for Israel.

I have read the series..and it is simply amazing who those themes in his books are becoming major headlines.
The gas and soon oil, will probably be the “hook” that draws Russia to Israel.
I’m a relatively new Rosenberg fan - but this info really got me. The man is a prophet, I’m beginning to think.
Uh, who is Joel Rosenberg, and since he’s not mentioned in the article, what does he have to do with this Natural Gas discovery?
I have all the books in that series...awesome!!!!
Would it be a good idea to invest in one of the companies mentioned in the article?
I have read all of his books, but Dead Heat, the last one, is downright scary!
Joel Rosenberg’s novels are awesome.
Time and again his fiction has turned to fact before our eyes from a (pre 9/11 hijacked airliner) terrorist attack on America and the US invasion of Iraq to Arafat’s death and the installation of terrorists as a political presence in Gaza. His research is impeccable; his thriller scenarios accurate and insightful.
He looks behind the scenes in the White House, the State Department and the various intelligence agencies in ways that few writers accomplish (outside of Tom Clancy in his heyday) and to top it off he’s an excellent story-teller.
His Christianity is ever present and a blessing, but it’s not intrusive or “preachy” in ways that many other end-times series written from a Christian perspective tend to be. He creates totally believable characters, not cartoonish over-the-top stereotypes. Start with “The Last Jihad” and you’ll be hooked.
