Joel Rosenberg’s novels are awesome.
Time and again his fiction has turned to fact before our eyes from a (pre 9/11 hijacked airliner) terrorist attack on America and the US invasion of Iraq to Arafat’s death and the installation of terrorists as a political presence in Gaza. His research is impeccable; his thriller scenarios accurate and insightful.
He looks behind the scenes in the White House, the State Department and the various intelligence agencies in ways that few writers accomplish (outside of Tom Clancy in his heyday) and to top it off he’s an excellent story-teller.
His Christianity is ever present and a blessing, but it’s not intrusive or “preachy” in ways that many other end-times series written from a Christian perspective tend to be. He creates totally believable characters, not cartoonish over-the-top stereotypes. Start with “The Last Jihad” and you’ll be hooked.
Thanks. You’ve raved about him to me before.
More for the TBR pile! :o)
