Good point! LOL!! Allow me to "revise and extend" my remarks. A caucus state like Iowa should be a plus to Governor Palin.

I bet his hot/cold “friends” in the MSM (who said nice things about in the primaries and bad things during the general election) are telling him he should run again. They just want to see how many times they can successfully foil the GOP.
Let him run again. I’ll go to any state he runs in to defeat his ass. I’ll canvas each and every home in these state myself if I have to.

He became "my boy" when he won the primary, and like it or not if you want to stop full-blown socialism you are going to have to work with him and a whole lot of others who are much, much worse.

In all fairness, the choices in 2008 were not exciting for any of us. The slate of candidates really didn't excite anyone, it was just a choice of who was the least “unattractive”.
Palin drew big, excited crowds here in Iowa.
I think she would do well everywhere. She speaks a great conservative message which I think would unite alot of us.
She is a clear difference.
But we have a heck of a lot of work to do. I think the GOP leadership is out of touch with conservatism; and that is a huge problem. They are afraid of conservatives.
For the sake of fact, what difference would it make if a conservative lost to a Rat? I would MUCH rather see that seat filled with a true conservative replacement for McCain.
IMHO McCain does far greater damage to conservatism than any Democrat ever could.
Yes, I will credit him with forever tying her to a losing campaign and subjecting her to the unbelievable media examination. Of course, I saw her as a good conservative with a fighting chance of working her way up to a national run without any help from the McCain campaign. Therefore, I was never in favor of her hitching her wagon to McCain, whom I can not stand. Same goes for Jindal ... I told him straight up that I would lose a great deal of respect for him if he joined a ticket with McCain.
One reason that the media scrutiny was as intense as turned out, I believe, is that anyone opposing Obama had to be vanquished at all costs. Same would have probably been true of any opponent of Hillary. Had the dem nominee been Edwards or Biden (for example), I don't think that Palin would have received the same extremely shabby treatment. History had to be served this election cycle and the media wasn't going to have it any other way. Unfortunately, much of the electorate agreed.
Decent people knew the truth and didn't buy the media garbage. And I think some people (maybe Democrats or independents) had their eyes opened by the blatant bias, got mad, and came to Palin’s side. Her future was not in any way diminished by the election. It was good prep for her and she now has millions of us ready to get behind her that would not have seen who she was without this exposure. My respect for her grew steadily during the campaign.

I very much agree with this one. There was always a sense that Obama was going to be the one, short of a videotaped, concrete scandal. I noticed during the Iowa caucuses, the excitement for him before the caucus. I thought, excitement is great, but will the 20 year olds actually get out and vote. They did. At that point, I knew he would be tough to beat this year.
Well, he doesn't. Even Arlen Specter doesn't and half the time I was unable to bring myself to vote for him. Democrats are evil.
