HANNITY: Do you think she could be president one day?

MCCAIN: Sure, sure. But I'd also like to point out that it's very early in this whole season.

HANNITY: Are you thinking of running again?

MCCAIN: I was -- no, no, no, but I -- you know, my political corpse is still warm, as you know, but I -- you know, there's going to be, I think, a spirited contest for the nomination of our party, and I think there are also other governors that will be competitive.

People like Bobby Jindal and John Huntsman and Tim Pawlenty and Mark Sanford, and -- you know, there's -- governors now, I think, are going to be -- play -- an enhanced role in the direction of the Republican Party. One reason is because their talent, and another reason is because they govern.

What ever people think of McCain; he was the one who picked Palin.
He should get credit for that...

I will always respect McCain for the years he spent getting tortured by the Viet-animals. I will always be grateful that he introduced Sarah Palin to our nation. Other than that...

Yet again, no mention at all of McCain’s ongoing wrongness on being “pro-amnesty for illegal immigrants”, on being “pro-open borders”, on being “pro-man-made global warming is real”, and on how his own, foolish, and unconstitutional campaign finance reform system gave Barack Obama a major financial advantage over John McCain after Obama opted out of it.

Juan McPain plans to run for US Senate again in 2010. Be prepared to support any conservative opponent who runs against him!

I’m seriously hopeful that J.D. Hayworth will definitely run for U.S. Senate against John McCain!

Yes indeed. McLoon will be Obama’s biggest cheerleader.

Who in the GOP is willing to go on national TV and make this amay-fu*king-zeeeeeen statement:

Yes- I believe that McCain will be the best hope for the GOP in 2012.

The person who does, will be:

Political Typhoid Mary

Terminally Ill

Not seeking re-election

Cindy McCain

A RINO

A democRAT

Steve "dumb"Schmidt

Arriana Huffington

There were plenty of McLame supporters in the primary ... which ultimately gave us the Obomb.

And they've all re-registered as Democrats. Plus, there were plenty of Dems that voted in our "open" primaries.

New Hampshire and Iowa need to be S-canned as initial primary states. By the time I got to vote in Texas, the damage had been done.

Or to McCain’s confinement, voluntarily or involuntarily, in a mental institution.

McCain is a fool if he thinks than anyone (Conservative or Liberal) will ever vote for him.

Alas, liberals (both Democrat and Republican varieties) voted for him en masse in the GOP primaries. ...and they'd do it again if they had the chance.

The silver lining of the cloud of Obama’s election is McCain’s defeat. I’m glad to have voted for Bob Barr but the Constitution Party was also a far better choice than McKook.

If the republican party is to survive one of the steps it must take is the overhaul of the primary process. It must be changed so that more voters have a say into who the standard bearer will be.
