Governor Sarah Palin

...besides, media smears need have little to do with the truth, yet they work. It is the lack of respect for truth in our society that needs to change, IMHO.

Does the Ann Coulter rule apply to Sarah as well? I hope so!

"No sexism intended, but methinks Gov Palin could be the next Teddy Roosevelt, in a skirt."

God I hope not! Teddy Roosevelt's Progressive view on the role of government makes John McCain look like a limited government constitutionalist.

TR was a Socialist megalomaniac.

I have read much about Teddy Roosevelt, and some writings would suggest where you came up with that statement. But I was referring to the hunting, land set asides (national parks), Monroe doctrine, and other issues which defined his presidency.

And no, I'm not going to argue with you. I respect your opinions.

Remember, if the media did not fear her, they wouldn’t be constantly smearing her, even now(She isn’t even running for anything now) yet they continue to say nasty things about her, why, because she speaks for the common man, the average Joe, and the media hates us Average Americans. If they thought that Sarah might run in 2012 and that it was a “joke” anyway, that she would have no chance of winning, why can’t they just leave her alone, they can’t, and that speaks louder then anything. The media adored McCain, because McCain is a lib just like they are, Sarah scares the hell out of the media, anyone that scares the media that badly is #1 in my book

Ann Coulter already said that she thinks that Sarah could be the next Reagan. Now I always say there will only be ONE Reagan, but I do suggest that Sarah talk to Nancy and Michael Reagan and get some perspective as to how the handle the press, if anyone knows what it feels like to be smeared by the press it’s the Reagan family

The other 15% are Republican members of the media and actual elected Republican politicians....

I get a sense the left is going to be too busy self mutilating itself. They aren’t really paying attention to her at all now. They are but not nearly like they did not in the same way they did. They have won and right now they are going to feast. I think they are going to be surprised with the nature of the guy they elected. I won’t be surprised if Obama becomes a Bush-like disappointment to many of the faithful.

This is what Michael Reagan said last week, I believe it was on his radio show..

“A lot of people are looking for Ronald Reagan and little did they know he came back in a dress with five kids.”

"ah! an optimist. any suggestions? a RINO perhaps?"

To answer your first statement, As atheist is deist so is pessimist to optimist...that would make me agnostic. Suggestions? Sure. We should re-adopt the Constitution and all of it's governmental restrictions. I'll put you in charge of enforcing that. Third, no, definitely not a RINO.

You are so right. They are scared to death of her. They saw the crowds at her rallies, but they refused to report it. Crowds are a measure of popularity and the media is big on crowd size.

Yep they never reported on the 80,000 in Florida, the 20,000 in Missouri(freezing at the time) 15,000 in Carson, California(which really surprised me since this town is so damn liberal, 25,000 in Colorado, and let’s not forget the thousands who came to see her in Georgia campaigning for Chambliss. Romney got 200, McCain got 2,000, Sarah Palin, same location, 5,000 and they were chanting her name, I know someone who attended that rally in Savannah, and she felt bad for Saxby since he wasn’t getting any attention
