Downtown D.C. Declared 'Prostitution Free Zone' @ 3:12 pm by Walter Alarkon
The police in Washington, D.C. have declared several downtown blocks a "prostitution free zone" for Inauguration Week, reports DCist.
In an area just east of Mt. Vernon Square and west of Union Station, the police will be on the lookout for anyone seeking sex for cash. According to D.C. law, officers will first hand out warnings to people they suspect engaging in "prostitution or prostitution-related activities" in that area, and then they would arrest them if they failed to obey orders to disperse. A conviction could lead to a $300 fine and incarceration for up to 180 days.
The "prostitution free zone" includes the blocks between 4th and 5th Streets NW and between I and G Streets NW. Nearby buildings include National Public Radio headquarters, the National Building Museum and the Washington Convention Center, which is the site of several inauguration balls.
The zone is in effect from Friday through Sunday, Jan. 25.

Does this include the Senate Chambers or the House of Representative chambers? If so, I suppose Herndon, VA will have an influx of restaurant reservations during this ‘prostitution-black-out’. The sluts in Congress need to get their money from the Johns (lobbyists) somewhere, right?
You sound like you must be a NoVA resident - ever hear back in the late 80s, early 90s when the cops used to play Ho-Pong???? DC’s MPD would round up as many prostitutes at 2:00am and march them across the bridge to Arlington. Arlington PD would then round them back up and march them back across the bridge into the District!!! Hilarious.

Nope, as you read, I’m in Texas. I spent some time in NoVA, and aren’t they all (Congress critters) liars, crooks and thieves anyways? Or, to fit the story, prostitutes?
Ho-Pong sounds like something the 5-0 played here in the Houston area, too, during Super Bowl week in ‘04. Houston moved’em down to the SW side, that moved’em over to the south, then back in to Houston. It like like a Ho potato!
