Of course they did. Just like their ambulances are used for terrorist acts and arms transfer, just like they refused to release video they took of Hezbollah kidnapping IDF soldiers. The UN is in collusion with Hamas et al.

I wish the bleeding-hearts in the Israeli government would quit apologizing for Hamas butchers who commit a war crime every time they fire from civilan areas. The Israeli PM should have said, "Hamas violated every tenet of the Geneva Convention by launching attacks from civilian areas -- these are war crimes -- at Israeli civikians -- another war crime. Not only is Hamas responsible, that is exactly what they want to do -- cause civilian casualties to blame on Israel. There can be no ceasefire until Hamas unconditionally surrenders."
The stupid media and the Arab world interpret the outpouring of sympathy as culpability, and the AP immediately headlines the story as "Israel admits targeting civilians."
the World cannot get it through their thick skulls that causing civilian casualties is exactly what Hamas told them they would do, over and over again.
Quit friggin' apologizing, Israel, when Hamas sing, dance and pass out candy in the streets when innocent Israeli civilians are killed.

Oh! It was the UN “compound” in Gaza.
I KNEW it was too much to hope for that the range of Israeli artillery was long enough to reach Manhattan...
