I have had so many close calls with 4 wheelers yakking on cell phones over the last several years that I would not be able to count them all up.
My solution?
I got a job that is in a place that I can walk to if I had to. I drive less than 3000 miles a year, and I have spent less than a single weeks pay on gasoline over the last few years.
People driving cars while yakking are a menace.
I work from home. No commute. That leaves a gasoline budget for "fun" things...or not. My "fun" vehicles get from 42 to 73 MPG.
