We were on the same side as Uncle Joe. The NYT did not want that war effort impeded, for sure and for certain.

I don't know about that. But plenty of people inside Britain did. It's not an unkown situation, and if that's what we use as our excuse for slouching into sharia, we were never patriots to begin with and were never worthy to stand under the Stars and Stripes.
