(IsraelNN.com) At least four Katyusha rockets hit northwestern Israel several minutes ago, east of Nahariya. The IDF has been on alert for rocket fire from Hizbullah and is investigating areas of Thursday morning's blasts.
Two peple were lightly injured from scattered debris, and the Home Front Command has ordered residents to enter shelters.
Hizbullah has smuggled from Syria three times more rockets than it possessed before the Second Lebanon War two years ago. It has not taken responsibility for the rocket attacks, which may have been initiated by another terrorist group with the approval of Hizbullah.
In the south, sirens warning of incoming Hamas rockets were sounded several minutes ago in Ashdod and Ashdod, and police are investigating the points of impact.

Hopefully. To use the nuclear option in that region, they would have to take into consideration the blow-back. They are encircled too closely by the enemy. If they use the bomb, it should be on Iran. The wind blows east and it would also stop the supply of arms to the local neighbors.

Correct. Just different factions of the Muslim Brotherhood.
We're fighting a fascistic movement, not any particular sect or state.

That's an eye-opener to be sure, but to be a nit picker: It might be a bit more accurate to label it “Muslim land”.

Israelis need to go back to the blitzkrieg (irony of ironies) tactics that won them the 1956, 1967, and 1973 wars. 360 degree envelopment, flank, surround, and annihilate the enemy - Hisbollah and Hamas.

I call Omert ElMort, so I know where you are coming from.
Israel should have squashed Hezbollah. They will now pay. Sad.

It does seem like it. I had hoped Israel was about to turn over a new leaf (unlike Lebanon in the last war), but these cease fires drive me nuts. Go in, full force, tell the rest of the world to F/O, and do what has to be done!
Israel must be ruthless so that there is no doubt what it will do next time. That alone will cut down on some of this nonsense.

I’m not convinced you are wrong. Syria is undeniably he power behind some of this, and of course Iran too. Making an object lesson out of Syria and putting Iran on notice might perk up a few ears.
