The nation's top selling conservative author has been banned from appearing on NBC, insiders tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
Banned for life!
"We are just not going to have her on any more, it's over," a top network source explains.
NBC's TODAY show abruptly cut Ann Coulter from its planned Tuesday broadcast, claiming the schedule was overbooked.
Coulter was set to unveil her new book, GUILTY.
But one network insider claims it was the book's theme -- a brutal examination of liberal bias in the new era -- that got executives to dis-invite the controversialist.
"We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now," a TODAY insider reveals. "It's such a downer. It's just not the time, and it's not what our audience wants, either."
For the book, Coulter reportedly received the most-lucrative advance ever paid to a conservative author.
The TODAY show eagerly invited the author months ago, for her first network interview on GUILTY.
The exclusive was to air during the show's 7 AM hour. The cut came Monday afternoon.
Executives at NBC TODAY replaced Coulter with showbiz reporter Perez Hilton, who recently offer $1,000 to anyone who would throw a pie at Ann Coulter. Hilton is also launching a new book this week, RED CARPET SUICIDE.

I haven't gotten my copy of Guilty yet, so I can't comment, but if you're only going to buy one of Ann's books, I recommend Treason - Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terrorism.
We know the truth. Ann Coulter is a woman as beautiful on the outside as she is in her mind. And she is 100% woman.

Lol/ and good title. . .Ann has offered that she has more criticism of the Media in this book than she does per Obama; also, she speculates that her whole 'booking' was a ruse of sorts; so that they could more or less 'take her out at the knees' (my words) more publicly and therefore influence other Networks and of course, those thinking to buy her book.
Whatever their intentions; loved Ann's line when she offered that by the sales of this book; she could probably buy NBC; and that their refusal to book her; was like being fired from Chrysler. LOL/Ann nails it with a laugh. As always.

I happened by accident to land on a site yesterday that 're-interpets' Fox News - so that their empty-headed Lib following will not have to watch; with a header 'we watch Fox News - so you won't have to!) These Libs do the same with Rush; and with books that denigrate and 'deconstruct' Rush (don't listen to him; just read our book.)

And now we have NBC acutally advertising their desire to protect their audience from views contrary; and life's unpleasantries.
Yes, it's "such a downer" that anyone would dare criticize the Messiah-elect. After all, no one in the media criticized George W. Bush after the election in 2001 before he took office and no one has criticized him since! Yes, Mr. Bush was treated to nothing but respect and hero-worship by our pals in the MSM.
If the MSM hadn't spent the last 8 years trashing, insulting, and criticizing Bush, maybe I could take their complaint about Coulter criticizing Obama seriously. No president is immune from criticism and no president should be but no president should ever have had to suffer the kind of disrespect that President Bush has been shown over these last 8 years. NBC's banning of Coulter just proves that there is no orthodoxy as rigid and as intolerant of dissent as the orthodoxy of the Left.
