Bingo! NJ Senator Robert Menendez, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee head was also caught on the Blago wiretaps on the same day as Dirty Harry.

Hi Doug. I actually live in Max Max's district, and I know her co-riot enabler, Rep. Diane Watson. I need to give both women a call on Monday. :)
Too bad former Rep. Juanita Millender-McDonald pass on, because I know her former chief of staff.

Now we know why Reid wants to block Burris. Blago had the nerve not to follow orders. If Reid is stupid enough to attempt to block seating Senator Burris, he will lose in the courts (see Powell v. McCormack (1969)) and will be perceived as a racist by Blacks. Reid should cut his loses and move on.

From the article:
William Walls of the Committee for a Better Chicago called Reid's opposition to the appointment of Jackson, Davis or Jones, all of whom are black, an act of racism."The U.S. Senate is an institution that is primarily white and has been forever and some people are more comfortable with people of their own kind," Walls told FOXNews.com. "Harry Reid seems to be one of those people."
Walls has vowed to rally activists in an effort to politically defeat Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin and Secretary of State Jesse White if they don't support Blagojevich's appointment for the seat, Roland Burris.
Snicker.

There could only be one deal. Yet there could be many offers. Fitzgerald didn’t want more people to get caught up making offers.

Who cares ???
It only matters if a Republican is involved!
Even the majority of Senate Republicans think so!
Just ask them, and they'll get the Dems consent to tell you so!
