GAZA CITY (CNN) -- Six days of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza in response to Hamas rocket attacks have "achieved changes," Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said Thursday in Paris, France. "What we are doing now is changing the equation, making it a better reality to our citizens, stopping the rockets on Israel," Livni said after meeting with French President Nicolas Sarkozy. "And I think that even now, after a few days of operation, we achieved changes," she said without elaborating. She spoke hours after an Israeli airstrike in Gaza killed a top Hamas military commander -- reportedly the most senior member of the Palestinian Islamic group to be killed in the six-day operation. The attack that killed Nizar Rayan was one of several Israeli airstrikes Thursday in Jabalya, Gaza City and other areas in northern Gaza.

You know how you can achieve some more changes? Put Ismail Haniyeh and Khaled Mashaal on the top of the hit list. One senior commander down is good, but there are some other big fish that need to get taken out.

I sure hope they don't pack it in until at least a week goes by with no rocket launches from Gaza. Really unconditional surrender would be nice, but at least a week of calm for the civilians of Sderot, Bersheva, Ashod, &c. would be nice.

Sounds like Israel is getting ready to let Hamas snatch victory from the jaws of defeat on this operation. The West will never learn, at least until it’s too late: In order to defeat the islamic menace it must be thoroughly and utterly crushed, obliterated from the landscape. Nothing less will answer.

It’s a start.

Remove the threat of Iran and Radical islam from Gaza first, THEN go after Iran itself. Can’t go after Iran with all those murderers just feet away and armed to the teeth. Nope, get Gaza and WB under control, then Neutralize Iran.

That is what it looks like to me.

GO ISRAEL!!!!! God bless them, with Democrats in control of the US they are carrying the ball against Terrorism for a while......

A ridiculous statement. Is she saying, "All done now, we win!"? Well in that case o one declares victory, the only thing that can be declared is surrender, and that has to be verified by submission over a period of time.

Or is she parroting the empty phrases of the Obama-PEOTUS? Change! Change! .phht.

Israel still has at least three weeks before Barry can find his arse with both hands in the Oval Office. They'll eliminate most of the rest of Hamas in that time, and turn it over to Fatah to exterminate the rest.

Then, a two-state peace treaty, and they'll even let Zero tell the world it was all his doing. As long as he shovels US money into the region, and gets the Euroweenies to do the same.

Those two should be found dead in their beds with a suicide note beside them (I don't care who writes it) saying they have been wrong all these years and can not live with the guilt. I hope someone can arrange it.

Uh oh! Sounds like one of those meaningless, BS, preludes to a cease fire. “Achieved changes?” Hamas is still firing missiles into Israel. The Israeli left and its worldwide MSM co-conspirators are going to declare victory and pull back.

not enough change. We remember the lebanon offensive. That was a big win for hezbolla and they were bombed even harder than gaza so far.

You put your left leg in
You put your left leg out
You put your left leg in
And you shake it all about.
You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around
That’s what Israeli strategy is all about...hey!

There is software that can scan handwriting samples and using a special pen plotter create perfect script so good that experts will swear it is authentic.
