Precious few people, even in the MSM, have read the Hamas Charter. If they had, they would know that Hamas does not seek peace, but rather the destriction of Israel, the eradication of the Jews, and the subjugation and elimination of the "infidels".
Infidel means anybody who isn't the same kind of Moslem as whatever Imams Hamas is following these days.

Just out of curiosity, do you know if 1988 is the last version of the Hamas Charter?
