—it appears to me that they have probably done more to lower prescription drug prices than any other entity, government or otherwise, too—

“Since the United States signed on to the 1987 Montreal Protocol...”

How many people have ever heard of this? I never had until today. I’d like to know how many billion inhalers used for how many thousand years would it take to make a significant impact on the ozone layer? Is this another of those cow fart alarms?

Between enviro-weenies and Union Thugs, it’s a wonder that there are any real entrepreneurs left.

I agree that choking a hippie sounds like a really fun sport.

Good for Walmart selling them at a cheaper price. Bad on the FDA for caving to the EPA and getting rid of CFC inhalers. The new inhalers work like crap and aren’t even worth the $9.

The same morons who brought you man-made global warming also brought you the “Hole in the Ozone” Layer and the unproven theory that CFCs were the cause.
Nobody even knew there was a hole in the ozone layer until someone with new measurement equipment noticed one.
Then the liberal theorists went to work and took away Freon, CFCs and lots of other energey saving and life saving materials.
This is just another cause to advance global socialism.

W00t!!! This was going to be a real problem for me. The problem now is that I hate Walmart pharmacies with a passion. customer service is nil. But their pricing makes it a necessary evil some times.

Had a similar situation. My Dr. gave me a sample of the new type & after 2 puffs, I had shortness of breath for the entire day. I considered the emergency room but suffered through it.
I’ve been hoarding Primatene Mist for a year. Bought everything on the shelf at Walmart yesterday. I’ve got 65 of them stockpiled. Should last 2 to 3 years.

Ping. I gathered your names from another thread on the ridiculous CFC ban. Here is some price relief while we tilt at the windmill to restore effective emergency relief to asthma and COPD sufferers.

It’s really quite insane how Congress banned asthma inhalers that work instantly, in favor of something that uses a propellant toxic to humans all because the enviroweenies said so.

Makes you just want to go choke a hippie, so he’ll know how it feels.

I'd rather just punch one out.

Some patients say the new inhalers are less effective in delivering relief.

I've heard this before. Wonderful how Mother Gaia matters more than someone who can't breathe.

That's exactly right, I've noticed it takes time to feel my lungs clear up when wheezing. Using the CFC powered inhalers, my lungs cleared up instantly.

Leave it up to Congress to ruin a good thing.

I think the new inhalers are ethanol powered.

It’s almost funny that something that powers cars, is inhaled for asthma relief.

Only in the United States Congress.

People have posted about a handheld battery powered nebulizer that looks like it might be a good solution...
