His predicted split looks reasonable, except I don't think Sarah will cede to Russia!
Every state has been invaded by liberalism. To not be able to live together would mean one group would have to leave or each state be divided into a north and south. That would not leave much of a map to connect the the dots to join with other states. A true mess we are in.
I like that map alright. I don’t think that guy gets Americans in Flyover country though. In my office of about 50 people there’s only one homo that’d merge with Mexico, Canadistan, China, or the Europistan.
Tennessee just voted a Republican majority to its House and Senate for the first time in more than 100 years. Any politician that utters the words “Income Tax” is voted out of office. No way we’re going with the Northeast and the EU!
We are part of the SEC (football), along with S.C. and KY. The map would make more sense if it divided the states up by the major college football conferences. That would just extend something already being fought about! And worth fighting over!
That map is just plain silly. Red China influence would extend over metro areas on the coastal states - Seattle, Portland, SF/Berkeley, Sacramento and LA/Hollywood. That’s a very small chunk of the 7 states shown in the western region.
Um, the Carolinas and gool ol` Virginia aint going with the Northeast. Furthermore, the USA’s not very likely to break up. Go broke? yes, Break up? not likely.
“His predicted split looks reasonable, except I don’t think Sarah will cede to Russia!”
Although I think this guy is onto something with his perception that the United States could be susceptible to a Soviet-style breakup, that fact that he is Russian (and lacking in perspective from those of Americans) prevent him from seeing just how a “split” could go.
For starters, I don’t think Canada could survive as an intact nation after a breakup of the United States below it.
My take on how this might go is here:

Let me pose a question to all those who would dismiss the notion that the U.S.A. could never “break apart”:
Less than twenty years ago - say, in 1988 - who would have predicted not only the collapse of the Soviet government of the U.S.S.R., but the breakup of THAT nation into the Commonwealth of Independent States?

Yeah! Utah will be part of China.
Last time I went to SLC, it was full of Chinese with their churches. Or was it Mormons.
I can never tell and I guess neither can this “analyst”
Nope. Not even close. If they want to start viewing the breakups, start with a county map and then start drawing borders from there.
Five new nations? That means five new nuclear powers as well. Every one of those 'regions' has nuclear weapons and no one will give them up.
The picture is simplistic. You right in that Alaska will never be part of Russia; as for the rest of it, we need to try to ensure that the place is divided along county lines and not state lines. Too many places like Maryland which would be perfectly normal red states with the removal of one or two goof cities and counties and that includes the northern half of the left coast. We need to make sure we have ports on the left coast and the lefties need to ensure that they have land corridors connecting the pieces of whatever they end up with. They’re not interested in rural real estate, which they refer to as ‘flyover country’.
There is absolutely no way that Utah, parts of Nevada, Idaho, and eastern Washington and Oregon would join with California.
The guy hasn’t a clue!
I don’t see the Carolinas, TN or KY joining “Atlantic America.” They’d go where the rest of the Old South goes.
If he thinks Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky and the Carolinas are going to join Massachusetts let alone the EU, he’s nuts.
