You can "think" anything you want to...as can I, but that doesn't make it so.
I can think you make snap judgements about people you don't know based on opinion, not facts.
Bottom line is---I don't give a flip who is appointed senator to replace Hillary because it will probably just be more of the same regardless of who get the nod. Of course, that is just my opinion based on no information from the NY gov.

“You know” is the one term that I am sick of. Just listen to ANY interview of a sports person telling about a play, game, something too do with sport and you have 600 you knows to every couple of real words. Like: “Well, you know, we went out there, you know, and we, you know, we did, you know, what, you know, what we were, you know, suppose to do, you know, on defense, you know, to defeat, you know, the other team, you know, the way, you know, the, you know, coaches told, you know, us to, you know, execute the, you know, game plan.” Just DRIVES YOU, YOU KNOW!!!, crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She didn’t, you know, inherit her Dad’s wit or charm, nor, you know, her Mom’s elegance and style, not to mention, you know, good looks.
She bears a strong resemblance to her Aunt, you know, Jackie’s sister, Princess Lee Radziwill.
She has always been known in NY as “Caroline Schlossberg” , you know, no Kennedy ever used in her name.
In case you didn’t know, you know she said “you know” 200 times in her interview, with, you know, Dominic Carter, you know, the interviewer from NY1.

Ms. Kennedys name, and remember that, until recently, Ms. Kennedy was, per the Times, not Ms. Kennedy at all, but Ms. Schlossbergthe married name by which, for the past twenty-odd years, the media have generally designated the princess of Camelot. Gee, perhaps your point is that the MSM promotes agenda trusting that most will fall for it with a mindset of "the MSM knows all" and us sheeple will accept their drivel without question? ; )

"...she didn't inherit her Dad's intelligence..."
What intelligence? JFK is the most overrated President of the 20th Century. You're probably not old enough to remember some of the most embarrassing live TV broadcasts with "Jackie's" tour of the White House, highlighted by an in-depth look at the historical art work: "Well...there's this picture here...and over there is another one..." Lest we forget Jackie's tour of the White House kitchen: "This is the kitchen. They cook our food here." Yes, the Kennedy brain trust disappeared long ago with the passing of old Joe Kennedy, and the Bouvier's added nothing to it. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend's (Caroline's cousin) failed bid for Governor of the most liberal state in the Union (Maryland) signaled "game over." Now I understand why John-John and Caroline were kept largely under wraps all those years. They're idiots. Hard to believe there's someone even more inarticulate than "The One," but here she is, "ya' know?"

Good thing she’s not Canadian, or it would be “you know, eh”. That would be hard to take. :-))

My “judgement” is based on her interviews, what she says and how she says it. I don’t know her personally.
I don’t know Obama either, or Bill Clinton, or Hillary Clinton, or Al Gore, or John Kerry, etc either but I think I can have opinions about them in spite of that fact.

It seems she knew she had a good thing from the beginning. She probably kept her maiden name because she knew it would benefit her to have the name recognition later in life.

Interestingly, one book she wrote several years ago was "The Right to Privacy" and she has been a private person. I'm surprised she would even want to get involved in politics---she hasn't made a habit of voting or contributing to political campaigns. I'm wondering if she has been pressured by family members to get involved.
BTW, none of the Kennedys have been known for their brain power.

Probably from the same people that gave the rest of the family a law degree.
Teddy might be a slight bit brighter than her, not much though.
At least he was able to lie his way out of the mess he created at Chappaquiddick.

To: lonestar
Agree about their lack of brain power. Most went to good schools based on the family name.
I too am surprised she is suddenly interested in politics. Family pressure is probably likely. As she is a newcomer to politics with little track record, our opinions by necessity are based on the 30 minutes of interviews she has given.
I guess one can’t have it both ways. If you want to be judged on more than your recent utterances, than start early. Otherwise you get judged on just the present.

This is astounding. They brutalized Sarah Palin because she couldn’t articulate her opinion concerning “Bush Doctrine”, yet they will glamorize Caroline Kennedy, who can’t even speak. What you know is of little use if you can’t talk about it effectively. This woman is an IDIOT! She deserves NO consideration for the Senate Seat. There is no reason whatsoever to even consider her. I am better qualified than she is for crying out loud.

Making judgements about people you don't even know is really--you know--costs nothing and requires nothing. Well, she certainly is not very well spoken for a graduate from a premier school of law.

I heard her being interviewed several years ago about a book she had written and she was well spoken.
It seems that politics is above her pay grade.

She wrote children’s books Well. I'm impressed
Lewis Carroll, Arthur Ransome, CS Lewis, JK Rowling: It takes a pretty clever person to write books that children will read.
Caroline Kennedy is a pretty, clever person. Who knew?

My comment about her writing children's books was in response to this comment by someone else...
Caroline is intelligent enough to get a law degree and write a couple of books. She probably has a better than average I.Q.
Her writing was a couple of children's books and anthologies of other works. More than I've written, but I'm not trying to get appointed to a vacant senate seat.
