Israel's air force fired around 20 missiles at targets in Gaza City on Saturday, causing heavy damage, a Reuters witness said. The IDF has confirmed the report. (Hanan Greenberg and Reuters)

Wow, this is an ancient thread but glad you replied to my post.

Yes, Israel is well aware that they will experience fallout from any nuclear attack on such a close enemy location. Israel will do what is necessary even if it means great loses to their people. They also know they are God's chosen people and has His Word that they will always be His chosen people. They are not afraid of doing what needs to be done to defend His nation that was established at the very time the Bible said it would.

Now a direct nuclear hit on Israel by their enemies would be more devastating than fallout. Israel is far more prepared for fallout then any other country in the world. But I have to say, God is looking after His people and what ever Israel does, they will NEVER perish. The wrath of God will be total to those who attempt to destroy His people.

SNIPPE: “Now, a small number of Yemeni jihadists have reportedly joined others from Syria, Egypt, France, and Belgium to fight a new war on an old battlefront: Gaza.

According to intelligence officials, up to a few dozen foreign fighters have entered Gaza from Yemen and other Middle Eastern and European countries. Some are experienced fighters there to provide training, while others seek to be trained and experience jihad. Some of the Europeans have even reportedly “come with their credit cards” and financed jihadist activities while in Gaza.”

SNIPPET: “Some have argued that the existence of al Qaeda-inspired groups in Gaza means that Hamas is no longer the worst option and that Israel should engage with Hamas without preconditions, lest al Qaeda take over. Iranian Official Meets Privately With Hizbullah Leader

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s deputy Mehrdad Bazerpash met privately with Hizbullah secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah yesterday evening in Beirut, and also with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman and other ministers.

Bazerpash also visited the tomb of Imad Mughniyeh, the senior Hizbullah official who was assassinated in February 2008.
