(CNN) Pat Robertson is "remarkably pleased" with President-elect Barack Obama, the conservative leader told CNNs Suzanne Malveaux and believes President Bushs administration has not dealt with the nations economic crisis in a professional manner.
Well, it's hard to assess blame, but I, over the years I hate to be critical, I mean I am a Republican, and this is the president of the party that I'm a member of but I think we've had some serious goofs along the way, he said on the Situation Room Tuesday.
The Katrina matter was terrible. The rebuilding of Iraq has been terrible. The [handling] of the economy right now has been terrible. It hasn't been handled in what I would consider a professional manner.
Robertson said history may be kinder to Bush than current opinion. But I believe I would look at about a C-minus right now if I were grading him, he said.
The evangelical leader has been a supporter of Bush's presidential campaigns.

The jury put the border patrol behind bars but W should give them and Libby a pardon.
Robertson is becoming increasingly irrelevant. He’s now resorted to blaming Bush for a natural disaster (Katrina)? He sounds like an idiot, no better than any rat.
“And for a $50 love offering we’ll send you the limited edotion Pat Robertson and Barack Obama peace plate where I sell what’s left of my soul for a few more dollars to keep this pathetic excuse for a cable network alive for another day”. There nothing worse than a holier that thou hypocritical whore. Can’t wait for the day when Pat says to Jerry, “Gosh, for Heaven, it sure is warm in here”.
FNC did many stories on this and the jury polled afterward said if facts like the criminal witnesses background were not kept from them they would have voted not guilty.
Leadership means having a defined agenda, a plan to achieve it, and a prompt factual response to your detractors, so much so that many of those on the fence or the other side of the argument become some of your biggest supporters. Like his father, GWB has turned out to be a brutal disappointment from a conservative standpoint and a mealy mouthed 98 pound weakling when it came to confronting his opposition and outlining his positions to the public. Good Riddance!
He lost it completely when he went “green” and promoted the Global SWARMING scam.
Pat Robertson was, is, and always will be a jack***.
Reagan 80-84, and Reagan 84-88. nuff said
Pat to Obama “you’re a great guy = please don’t audit my books”
> Leadership means having a defined agenda, a plan to achieve it, and a prompt factual response to your detractors, so much so that many of those on the fence or the other side of the argument become some of your biggest supporters.
I beg to differ. Leadership means the ability to have followers. Nothing more nor less. President George W Bush demonstrably has that ability.
> Like his father, GWB has turned out to be a brutal disappointment from a conservative standpoint
Not this Conservative. In my view he has been a fine War-time President. Every other consideration is secondary: America is at War and President George W Bush prosecuted that war competently and to the best of his ability.
> and a mealy mouthed 98 pound weakling when it came to confronting his opposition
You mean like Saddam Hussein? I seem to recall he had Saddam hanged.
> and outlining his positions to the public.
His positions on the WOT were well-understood by the public. Everything else was a sideshow that did not merit his attention. Winning the WOT was (and is) everything that matters.
> Good Riddance!
Let’s see how you feel after His Excellency Barack Hussein Obama Dada’s first four years. I bet you will look back fondly at GWB.
> Pats just hoping Zeros thug army will eat him last.
(grin!) Yeah, just ingratiating himself to the new guy.
Happy Christmas, BTW.
Although Reagan was by far the best president in my 54 years, he disappointed Conservatives from time to time as well.
Shame on him! :~( What’s the Bible say about many being deceived??
Most TV evangelists are not on my list of men of God to listen to anymore. I will listen to Charles Stanley. I used to listen to D James Kennedy before he passed away. They are old-time style preachers. If a man of God is truly preaching from the Word, he doesn’t have to make these kind of pronouncements.
Amen to that.
Happy Christmas to you and yours!

Reality is there are very few Presidents/CinC's in our history who would have the stones GWB has shown in fighting this WOT (despite the lies, spin and half-truths from 1/2 our Nation and most of the rest of the World). Most others would have bent to such pressure. GWB did not.
This Nation (95%) have no clue how this man has made this world a better place (and given the future more opportunities to be a better place) because of his steadfast leadership. That is reality.
> You Bush-bots are nuts. GWB is a disaster. The test is over, we no longer have to lie about him. In fact its counter-productive.
You’ll be singing a different tune in less than four years. I can remember Conservatives saying Reagan was a disaster.
Merry Christmas to you also! These TV preachers do pretty much nothing but give Christianity a black eye, IMO.
more useful idiots...
