If anyone has any book reccommendations for newly published books, please post them to this thread/ I still need to buy a few Christmas Presents.

Years back, Sowell recommended a trilogy of books by Daniel Boorstin. The trilogy is entitled "The Americans," and the first is subtitled "The Colonial Experience" and the second is subtitled "The National Experience." I cannot recommend the third volume, subtitled "The Democratic Experience," but the first two volumes I found highly stimulating and interesting. The trilogy was written decades ago . . .
