In a surprising rebuke to the warriors who fought for him through tough times, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Sunday sided with President-elect Barack Obama and scolded the Republican National Committee for fanning the Illinois corruption scandal.
On ABCs This Week, host George Stephanopoulos asked: The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Mike Duncan, has been highly critical of the way President- elect Obama has dealt with this.
"He's had a statement every single day, saying that the Obama team should reveal all contacts they've had with Governor [Rod] Blagojevich. He says that Obama's promise of transparency to the American people is now being tested. Do you agree with that?
McCain replied: I think that the Obama campaign should and will give all information necessary. You know, in all due respect to the Republican National Committee and anybody right now, I think we should try to be working constructively together, not only on an issue such as this, but on the economy stimulus package, reforms that are necessary. And so, I don't know all the details of the relationship between President-elect Obama's campaign or his people and the governor of Illinois, but I have some confidence that all the information will come out. It always does, it seems to me.

Joe Arpaio for Governor and J.D. Hayworth for Senate. Can not believe that H. Mithchel won over J.D. last time he ran. Thanks AZ Republic and Napalitano. At least Napalitano is out of here.
Disgraceful, as usual.
So tell me again how this loser became the GOP candidate? Oh yeah, I remember some folks saying on this forum that he was the only one who was electable. See where that got us? I'll be taking notes on exactly who squalls 'electability' in 2012 and remind them accordingly.
sadly, you are correct. He reached across one too many times and became “infected”, much as one would be in Resident Evil. All liberal democrats are those undead feeding on whom they will indescriminately. Between Resident Evil and the Matrix, Hollywood has indeed been prophetic in showing our government officials, much as Orwell did in Animal Farm and 1984,especially Atlas Shrugged. Sadly, prophets walk among us....
I cannot stand McCain.
There is a federal investigation into Jackson, Rezko and Blagojevich, and I know those criminals Daley and Obama are also involved in this nasty Chicago corruption.
McCain is a damn fool to say anything more than he is hopeful that justice will be served on behalf of the American taxpayer.
To blast his fellow Republicans for pursuing the truth and justice on this issue is totally out of line.
McCain should shut the h@ll up.
“I”
but but
pray?
quote Just carrying on his campaign tradition of kicking his supporters in the teeth while sucking up the Rats.quote
that is exactly what he is doing.
I felt betrayed while he was campaigning
Leave him a nice voice mail message to that effect at 202-224-2235.
thank you,
To me it seemed he really didn’t want to win, there is so much he could have said,
Yeah, sure ANOTHER frickin RINO. That's ALL we needed.
It wasnt his religion, it was his RINOism.
This must be some kind of mistake. McCain...the one who ran for president of the USA on the Republican ticket? He died last month. I even saw the obituary. I swear.
McLame indeed . To put it politely
We have this, and then the news about him not supporting Palin. I was never fooled by this Rhino. Glad that I voted 3rd party. My conscience is clear.
WRONG Juan. We need to constructively undermine the Illinois regime in Washington.
McCain is a nut.
To McCain for your Christmas....a case of Preperation H. Seems he’ll need it, since he’s back to being the demoncrat’s favorite butt-boy.
Had lamebrain been elected we'd have egg on our faces within a few months after his inauguration.
Now the left will have a large omelet on their faces and Obomba will go down faster than lamebrain's jet fighter.
As I've stated on another thread: Juan's only accomplishment was being a prisoner of war.
Just think of how much more he could have done to help Democrats if only he had been elected bi-POTUS! He could have had a weekly nationally televised fireside "Reach around for liberals" chat.
