I was kind of hoping the troops would meet him with a giant “Mission Accomplished (again)” sign.

What is a waste of money the trip to Iraq? If so are you kidding me? Do you have any idea what it means to the troops when their CIC drops by to say hello and great job. I don't understand alot of his decisions and disagree on many, but I will give him his props for our Military. The President has always treated his men with the respect they deserve. Thank you Mr President for keeping us safe since 9-11.

Good response.
Reagen started this and kept going on the illegal immigration. Bush tried a way to deal with this, and BTW, tried to keep the Hispanic vote with the republicans. Of course, the whiners would rather have us lose that vote than even try to deal with the illegals in some way.

Bush has always said what he would miss most is being with the troops.
I am not so sure Obama will be so admired by the troops. He just doesn’t get it...Bush got it and praised the troops all the way through. Obama dismisses their unbelievable accomplishments.

Against ALL odds this president did the right thing! He led the front on the War against Islamofascism and terrorism. He kept us safe for 8 years. Thank you Mr. President! I for one am grateful. Those that now want to post all the conservative Bush Derangement Syndrome go ahead. Bush is a socialist will just be a different version of Bush Lied. God bless George Bush. a man of courage and character. +1

God bless President Bush and our troops for keeping the US safe. I pray that the next president knows how to keep us safe but I have the worst feeling.

The WOT is the one remaining isse I support him on.
It’s a shame that so many members of the Bush Cult of Personality forget he just nationalized the engine of capitalism, and want sthe auto industry delivered up to the O before he takes office.
Bush has betrayed his oath to defend the US Constitution, maybe that isn’t important to you.

Well, I still think that the President has shifted into Liberal-mode and isn’t thinking right. Giving a boatload of money to Paulson and Bernanke (who then skimmed $3 MILLION each off the top to pay themselves) with NO preconditions was a desperate move to placate liberals. Not building the d@mn fence and allowing Mexico to continue to funnel people they don’t want to deal with along with drugs into the USofA is not the agenda of a sane-sided right mind. NOT pardoning Ramos and Compean because “your” guy, Johnny Sutton prosecuted them is also wrong-headed, stubborn, and leftist-agendized.
The President we saw on 09/11/2001 is not the same man who signed a bill giving nearly a Trillion Dollars to Wall Street and who wants to use some of that money to bail out Automakers who have been living with their heads in the sand, building gas-guzzlers.
President Bush seems to be two people. The good Bush who is a force for good and the other Bush who is a force for liberal politics. I wish the Good Bush a Merry Christmas. I hope the Other Bush will find solace on January 21, 2009.

It never ceases to amaze me that so few one-issue conservatives ever consider that, over the past 7 years, they COULD have been complaining that President Bush let them down by allowing Islamist fascists to overrun our country, rather than having the luxury to complain about their favorite, pet-peeve issues.

It’s great to hear from all the Cult of Bushbots. Who for some reason defend a left-wing nutcase.
Read what read how NAZI Germany nationalized it’s industries than look at your hero.

"The WOT is the one remaining isse I support him on."It is? It's odd that not ONE of your posts contained a thank you to him for his prosecution of this very difficult war.
As for breaking his oath to defend the US Constitution, I don't know what you mean.
