The original article states that Obama and the Governor met EARLIER in the week. The article was written on November 5. Meaning they met BEFORE November 5.
The clarification states that no meeting took place on November 5th.
No kidding because the meeting was not on November 5th, it was earlier in the week.
I think Alexsis Hunt of the Tristate and/or Obama has some ‘splainin to do.
If I’m understanding you, you are saying the clarification doesn’t correctly quote the original November 5 posted article. I didn’t research that article (which is probably also missing).
This is beginning to have as many twists as the birth certificate article.
"Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the US Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled. Obama met with Governor Rod Blagojevich today in Chicago to discuss it. Ilinois law states that the Governor chooses that replacement. There's already been speculation about his selection, from Congressman Jesse Jackson, junior of Chicago's South Side who co-chaired Obama's presidential campaign..."KHQA had all-day, close-of-business, 5 p.m. CST, to vet their facts. Right there in Illinois. A local phone call.
Sounds like they had their story.
There's your 'splainin'.
