If Illinois has a special election, a Republican could win the Senate seat. Any thoughts who would be a viable candidate?

If I was Blago I’d hire about a dozen trusted bodyguards. Probably best if from Blackwater.

Didn’t you write one titled “Another one under the bus”?

Well, I guess someone in Illinois is going to have to create the office of governor elect.

Next JJJ, then Rahm ... up the food chain we go!

(If Blago was smart he’d hold his ground.)

The strategy of the left is formulating. It's to paint Blagojevich as mentally unhinged. A nut. It's already being spun that anything that Blagojevich said on tape could be part of a fantasy world he had rather than reality.

So if something comes out against Obama it didn't really happen.

And if complies like a good boy Hussein will have the pardon all ready to go come January, 2013 (and will issue it the day before President-elect Palin is sworn in).

I don’t think Hussein acted THAT quickly. I think he was treading water waiting to see if the MSM might pull through for him yet again.

I’m waiting for Gov Blago to tell Obama to either pardon him or he’s going to roll over on him about the Chicago Machine that enabled Hussein to even BE a national candidate.

I’d like to hear a tape of the Governor’s reaction to this announcement.

Judy Barr Topinka- she not only looks like an elderly Lucille Ball, she sounds like her, too. Seriously, Jim Edgar. An oldie but a goodie.

Congressman Mark Kirk is the only viable candidate. He is the only one with the organization required to beat these crooks.

The Democrats will run about 10 candidates, we need to run only one. NO ALAN KEYES, NO OBERWEISS. We need a candidate that has a chance of winning.

I heard on WLS that Jim Edgar has no interest in running.
