Under the right circumstances (Paterson appoints a lemon, Obama becomes unpopular), King would have a shot.

King is a Vet and very solid on National Security and the War on Terror. He p*ssed off CAIR majorly. Way to go!

King would be a moderately strong candidate, but if he runs we’ll likely lose King’s Democrat-leaning US House seat.

He’s good on some things. Border security I believe. Seems to be a typical NY RINO on others.

I’d accept him for NY.

... as would any other Republican candidate there (with the possible exception of Rudy).

New York is all-but a one-party state now. Pubbies have about as much chance at statewide office in New York as they do in Massachusetts....

Depends on the climate. It’s still Pro-DEM we might as well all move to the mountains of Idaho or something.
