I count the following:
A) 1 round .338 rifle, to the shoulder
B) 4 rounds of .45 ACP point blank, 1 in the head, 3 in the gut
C) 3 rounds of .44 Mag point blank, 1st in the stomach, 2nd in the head, and requiring yet a third to finish him off.
That was a black bear. Recommend you up-scale your armament for Griz.
Otherwise the joke applies: “Shave off the front sight of your .357 so it doesn’t hurt so much when Griz shoves it up your ***.”

What part of MI are you from?
Not all of MI is Detroit or Grand Rapids. The UP has the same concerns about wild animals. Not so much about wild humans.
