According to The Schnitt Show, a radio program available in several Florida markets and XM radio, a birth announcement for Barack Obama was discovered in a 1961 Honolulu newspaper. See link for a PDF image of this announcement.
The “Birth Anouncement” was automatically generated by the filing of the phony “Birth” Certificate. Newspapers used to monitor public records for births, divorces, etc.
Yep, old news. A lot of people dismiss because it doesn’t say ‘where’ he was born. What I find interesting is how short of a time period between his birth date and the announcement (under ten days), especially at the time it may have taken over a week between submission and publication. They must have shot straight back from Kenya and requested this, no recovery time for mom.
One in the Honolulu Advertiser and another in the Star Bulletin. They are automatically generated from records.
This doesn’t mean he was born in Hawaii just that he was registered.
It has been posted over and over. Much has been said about it, could have been put in later by the grandmother. Believe the address on it didn’t mesh with what what freepers found, etc.
Lucyt will know.
The birth announcement is meaningless in the discussion of 0bama’s eligibility to serve.
The State of Hawaii routinely provided a list of new birth registrations for publication in the papers.
That is why the announcements are all bare bones information, they are not celebratory listings from proud parents.
All the announcement tells us is that 0bama’s birth was registerted with the State.
We already know this and it is not in dispute.
HOWEVER, that registration could easily have been a registration of a foreign born child as was permitted at that time.
So the announcement in the paper tells us NOTHING.
We know he has a Hawaiian birth certificate, what we DON’T know, and no-one has divulged, is what location he was born.
I do not understand the obsession with this Oblamalama birth certificate thing.
The whole thing is just silly IMHO.

It will just make conservatives look like nut-jobs and give the RATS fodder for their propaganda machine.
The State of Hawaii says BHO was born there (Hawaii’s Republican governor spoke just before Giuliani at the Republican National Convention, if you will recall), and the state has provided a certificate of live birth.
It is unlikely that the US Supreme Court will waste time reviewing this case.
Not quite sure how I missed that little tidbit. Thanks for clearing that up.
In the words of Dionne Warwick, “That what FRiends are for”.
I’ve seen it before. Obama’s grand parents could have called it in to the newspapers when Obama was really born in Mombasa, Kenya. It’s certainly not conclusive of an Hawaiian birth. Moreover, the image of this birth announcement is small and obscure. A better graphic with more resolution of it would give this more credibility. You’ll also notice the picture is cropped. The people who put out this as evidence should have made a picture of the whole page of the newspaper from which it came. It’s a piss poor job.
Thanks for the story Red Reign.
Readily available to any Freeper folk in the 50th state, I say, check it out, if it’s in a font that is obv.... No they wont make that mistake again...
Damn, some folk are just plain dumb. And that includes AM pundits that just give up on the US Constitution.
The announcement has been known and shown here in FR for some time now. Anyone can put an announcement of birth in the paper no matter where the baby is born. There is nothing in the announcement that states where Zero was born. Also, the address given as the residence of his parents was not where they lived, and actually his parents never lived together anyway.
asserting that Donofrio was trying to say Zero was not born in the US.
Donofrio is asserting that Zero IS a U.S. citizen, but not a NATURAL Born citizen. Zero himself has said that he was a British citizen at birth.
No the State of Hawaii never said anything of the sort.
99.5% chance it'd be in print the next day.
And if you should happen to be male, you might make the evening news shortly thereafter
BTW, welcome to FR
You are wrong in that there was nothing phony about the birth certificate.
Hawaiian officials have stated that it is on record and legal in all regards. I accept that.
HOWEVER.... While his birth certificate is legitimate, it can legitimately say he was born ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD since foreign born children of Hawaii residents could be registered with the State for up to a year after their birth.
So while his birth certificate is genuine, it doesn't mean he is a natural born citizen in which case, if he is not, he CANNOT be President under the Constitution.
No, they did not say he was born in Hawaii, they said they have a birth certificate on file. Hawaii law lets anyone born anywhere register a birth in Hawaii.
The "obsession" is to uphold the Constitution. I'm sure you've heard of that document. If the Constitution is not worth upholding, then none of our laws mean anything. And if Zero is ordained supreme leader and is not eligible, every law he signs, every agreement he makes, etc. isn't worth spit.
