AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless you, Rush Limbaugh.

Unfortunately, I'll be listening to a presser from Auburn University re:
the resignation of their Head Coach. It starts the same time as Rush!! And I've MISSED Rush so!!!
Weeping and gnashing my teeth...but in these parts, College Football RULES (no primadonna NFL for me, ugh)

You can get tuners for iPods too, but they only use FM and not AM bands.

I don’t know....I don’t think I am going to mess with the comany computer—I’d be a nervous wreck. The IT boss said anyone hosting or streaming will be terminated immediatly.......but thanks anyway. I wonder if WiFI is available in this building? We are a software/web company...I think at my last job they blocked it using special windows....probably here too?

Arg, idiots p*ss me off. :O) It’s not even a conspiracy theory that makes sense. It’s not like Rush was out Thursday (today) and Friday (the day when the issue is before the Court), which I would think would be the better time to “miss” to avoid discussing the issue.

Accept no substitutes! (well, maybe Mark Steyn) :) Jason Lewis is not bad, but he lacks Rush's belligerence. Even with all his humor, Rush goes to WAR with liberals every day -- and that I like. :)

What happened there? Tuberville was like 85-40 or something like that in ten years.

There’s no reasoning with these people. I think the Alex Jones show might be more to their liking.

I think the Zune only has a FM tuner, but I wonder, with its internet capability if it also has streaming capabilities? I should ask my hubby because you can watch Youtube on it.

You can still do it if you have a colleague that has an AM radio near a window that picks up the signal. They may not want to listen to Rush, so plug the FM transmitter into the earphone jack and transmit the signal to a radio at your work station. That should work just as well.

Just looked up internet streaming, Apparently Sansa makes an mp3 player that has streaming capabilities for internet radio.

Or bring an AM radio from home that has an earphone jack and set it up somewhere where there is reception and do it that way.
