They’ll be last so they can manufacture votes if needed.

I am optimistic about Saxby. He had the plurality with Buckley in the race and Obama's large coattail. Though the CNN Election Map currently (at 8 pm) shows that neither DeKalb nor Fulton have returned any results but Gwinett's number (65-35) looks very encouraging. Chambliss only won 53 to 45 there on Nov. 4.

If you’re planning a move, it’s an extremely a nice place to live (in most areas).

I would think our Lt. Governor Casey Cagle (R)is being set up for a handoff for the Governorship in 2010.

Not that cut and dried, there was also a third party candidate...makes a difference.

Sad, when we are concerned with almost a 70% lead.

Now that’s weird, when the sun goes down that’s when I lose AM signal. I listened to Herman Cain during the early fall late summer down in my work-shop, but with the time change, I don’t even bother.

I live about 30 miles east of Atlanta.

exactly. Now let us all remember 1976, 2008, and 1992 when the “party” tries to hand us another from the school of Milquetoastianism.

Democrats don’t mess around. They win and immediately start their plans to own the car industry and blow 700 billion more on “infrastructure” and “affordable housing” which are code for “ghettos” and “more trains to get to the ghettos”

Republicans need to win and then show the same kind of balls in rolling back this nonsense. Instead of “reaching across the aisle” trying “building a replica of the Great Wall of China” where the aisle is.

Putting my Michael Barone hat on...

So far, the county I see that is closest to having full returns in is Berrien County. It gave Chambliss 64% in the first round, and now with 8 out of 11 precincts in, it’s giving him 73%.

Gwinnett County has a good chunk of the vote in, 68 out of 163 precincts in, and it’s giving Chambliss 64% of the vote. In the first round it was 53% for him, but there could be Dem precincts not in.

So far, so good.

Chris Matthews tomorrow: “If Sarah Palin had just stayed home in Alaska, Chambliss could have won by 40 percentage points, instead of squeaking by with a mere thirty. When will Republicans learn that this woman is just an anchor around the neck of the GOP?”

Good point!

And the GOP threw the Dems an all-you-can-eat buffet by having Stevens run again in Alaska...guilty or no guilty the guy should have stepped aside.

Don’t forget Burns (MT) running again in 2006 - another gift to the Dems.
