there was some odd rumor on the Twitter #mumbai channel (best Mumbai terror news anywhere) that CNN had its Indian sat broadcast license pulled today. No reason why.

Unfortunately, there’s a whole lot more where those came from.

And there will continue to be, so long as the terrorist handbook is so easy to obtain...

I couldn’t belive Fox went from H&C covering this to a Greta re-run... they have NO international presence — something they should have remedied before starting their business network IMO.. and CNN is repeating that Anderson Cooper thing from last night~

Nah, they’re following ACLU and Human Rights Watch rules and giving them hot toddies, backrubs, and nice soft goosedown pillows.

I trust that proper Koran handling procedures are in place, as well.

****I’m sure the Indians will make the captured satanists feel hell on earth as well.***

Vise grips and blow torches are ok with me! Burning bamboo splinters under the finger nails work good, like a firecracker up the butt.

But NO waterboarding or panties on the head! We don’t want to offend anyone!

“With the emergence of new sanctions for torture - like the Prevention of Terrorism Act, Terrorism and Destructive Activities Act (Prevention), and Essential Services Maintenance Act - that justify or legalize any amount of torture, the police enjoy enormous freedom to have recourse to any such crimes.”

-and-

“India not having ratified the Convention against Torture, its citizens do not have the opportunity to find recourse in remedies that are available under international law. Indian practices with respect to torture do not come under international scrutiny. Access to the UN Committee against Torture, and other mechanisms, is effectively denied people living in the largest democracy in the world. Since the country has also not signed the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, its citizens also do not have the right to make individual complaints to the UN Human Rights Committee.”

It is true, they talked about it on the air, said there was nothing they could do as they are at the mercy of permission to broadcast. Later there was a post that a Welch couple complained that CNN had broadcast their location in the Taj and placed their lives in danger.
